‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Obama: too clever by half

July 13, 2011

Sherlock Holmes had a saying he used in reference to his arch-villain Professor Moriarty, “Too clever by half.” It is best defined as: “A stupid person can only make certain, limited types of errors; the mistakes open to a clever fellow are far broader. But to the one who knows how smart he is compared to everyone else, the possibilities for true idiocy are boundless” — Vlad Taltos, lorich…

Thus we have Barack Hussein Obama. He is “too clever by half.” He repeatedly lied about healthcare reform: “there would be no death panels, you would be able to keep your old insurance, you wouldn’t be jailed or fined for not having healthcare, there would be no rationing, your money wouldn’t fund abortions,” He lied about there not being any boots on the ground in Libya, even as he ignored the war powers act and a host of other lies, that have been spectacularly and dramatically exposed each step of the way. So, what does he do, he berates the citizenry, and tells more lies.

He thought he was clever by presenting himself in a Che Guevara like pose, as he sought to appeal to college students, inculcated with contempt for America, by marxist professors. But, in striking that pose, he was sending a near subliminal message of rebellion and defiance to those indoctrinated young people. He was sending a message of unity in rebellious change to others. But, worst of all, he was reaffirming his commitment to marxism. As Michelle Malkin points out, “Che was a murdering sociopathic Commie ideologue.” Obama told a gathering of select supporters the week before his election “[in] five days we will begin to fundamentally change America” – there was resounding applause. He didn’t stop there, he also said: “It’s time to fundamentally change the way that we do business in Washington. To help build a new foundation for the 21st century.” His wife, I am told, went so far as to call herself “aunt Che” addressing college students on the campaign trail last year.

The problem is, regardless how they spin it, his administration has been one colossal failure after another. Practically every lie he has told to bum-rush his agenda through has been exposed as a lie. But because he perceives himself so superior, he sees know reason to change his behavior. But his cleverness, while dragging the country toward marxism, has awakened the slumbering giant, i.e., the American people. His cleverness has sparked raw opposition to him and his policies. He awaked people to the extent that they will never slumber disinterested again. And for that he is condemned by conservative and democrats who are given over to marxism. Yet he still thinks he is too clever for people to grasp what he’s up to.

It was said of President Nixon, that he “was clever, but the problem with clever people is they don’t know when to stop being clever.” So it is with Obama. A congenital liar, a serial deceiver, an alinskyian marxist who thought he was slick enough and clever enough, to just mislead and lie and no one would notice – well we see how that working out.

There’s one more thing that I want to point out pursuant to his cleverness. He hasn’t set “blacks” back as some lament. His marxist proclivities have set the nation back. His epoch failures are not color sensitive, they are American sensitive. His policies are bad for all and I for one am growing increasingly weary with the race mongering, that claims the pain of his failure is worst for one, than it is another, simply because of race.
