Offended By The Truth

In the New Testament Book of 2 Timothy 4:3, the Apostle Paul wrote: “For a time is coming when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.” (Berean Study Bible)

I say to you that day has arrived in spades.  I am not talking about Christians and/or unbelievers, I am specifically referring to liberals and cultural Marxists and the lengths they will go to silence those with whose message they fear.

[dropcap]Honest non-agenda driven persons do not fear the truth. They understand that truth protects. Permit me to cite a few examples.[/dropcap]

Douglas Ernst writing for WND.com reported: at the University of Texas at Austin, an evangelical preacher who was interning with Campus Ministry USA was confronted and given a citation for “disorderly conduct” and for “offending” a student. (Cops Cite Preacher For “Offending Student; 2/12/2016)

The unnamed student was “offended because the Campus Ministry USA intern was “merely talking about the risk of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) linked with anal sex.” There is no gray area here. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) state unequivocally that homosexuals are at extreme risk from this practice. And that is not to suggest that heterosexuals are exempt from STD’s consistent with said practice either. But apparently a Christian preacher speaking categorical facts and truth offended the student.

Following a call to the police station from their legal representation Campus Ministry USA was given an apology and the citation was withdrawn.

I am personally aware of a newspaper (or former newspaper) employee as it were, whom it can be argued resembles Pat Boone or a member of the Beach Boys, who was insulted to the point of trying to have my nationally syndicated op-ed column censored. The former employee was offended to the point of resigning in protest because the paper continues to carry my syndicated op-ed column. My “offense” was a nationally syndicated op-ed column I wrote titled “The Confederate Flag Has Never Called Me A Nigger: But Blacks and Liberals Have.” (6/24/2015)

I argued that it was the right of an individual to fly and/or wear the Confederate flag if they wanted, and I said, it was the right of individuals to honor the Confederate flag by recognizing it on statues and buildings.

The privilege afforded to those honoring the “rainbow” flag is sacrosanct but same isn’t afforded to others. And let us not forget that we have been told ad nauseum that it is acceptable for a “black” person to use the word “nigger.”

Thanks to the Obama White House the mainstream media is unwilling to identify a criminal or terrorist attacker as being Muslim or Muslim terrorist unless they have absolutely no recourse but to do same. After all, didn’t Obama mock Americans while standing on foreign soil calling us afraid of Muslim women and children?

Pamela Geller pointed out in: Ohio: Bloodbath At Middle-Eastern Eatery (pamelageller.com; 2/12/2016) most of the media did not identify the machete attack of the Jewish restaurant owner as a terrorist attack even though the Muslim machete attacker specifically asked the owner if he was from Israel. Obama, we are told, was livid that the media identified the husband and wife who committed mass murder at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CA as Muslim terrorists.

It goes virtually unnoticed and unreported that an aggressive Muslim student in Chesapeake Bay Middle School, Pasadena, MD, made an overt bomb threat, ending his written message with “I have a bomb in my car, allahu akbar.”

The school principal Michael Dunn is reported as saying the bomb threat: “was not something the boy could get suspended for because you can find that phrase all over the internet so he feels like it is a boy just being a boy.” Interesting rationale. You can find admonitions throughout scripture that “Men should pray every where” but you can be assured that school’s football team wouldn’t be allowed to pray before a game. I ask you, who has murdered more people – Muslims shouting/writing “allahu akbar” or a football team kneeling in prayer?

This same Muslim student has threatened children at the school before. Adjusting the settings on his cell phone to sound like gunfire, he points his phone at students pretending to kill them. But a child wearing a “Jesus loves you” tee-shirt is frowned upon.

In Germany, there are over 30 documented cases of Muslim refugees raping and sexually molesting children aging 3 and 5 years of age to 10 years of age in the past 30 days alone. In the first four weeks of 2016, there have been over 300 documented cases of sexual harassment and 510 total cases that include beatings, rapes and sexual molestation of children, young girls/boys, and women by Islamic refugees. What is it that liberals and cultural-Marxists fear about the truth? Have the hearts of men become so evil that they blindly follow those who are committed to denouncing the truth regardless of the risk to America?
