Remember When Obama Woman and Jill Biden Promised To Help Military Families? I Do!
On April 13, 2011, Mimi Hall wrote a USA Today article titled, “Michelle Obama, Jill Biden Join Forces for Military Families.” The article begins “Michelle Obama says she is determined to use the ‘wonderful megaphone’ she has as first lady to highlight the plight of military families and encourage Americans to do more to help the people her husband calls ‘the force behind the force.’”
Okay, so where the heck are the Obama woman and the Biden wife now? Tens of millions of Americans saw the commercials with them staring blankly into the camera telling us how “joining forces” for military families needed our help and we should send money. They even aired at Christmas and during the Super Bowl that year.
If they’ve joined forces and plan to use the Obama woman’s “wonderful” first lady “megaphone” why in the Sam Hill don’t we hear them now? Cemeteries in the dark of night are livelier than those two are vocal about the plight of military families who need help now.
Assuming that the Obama woman didn’t have the phony ad run during the Super Bowl that year, just to have her then tax-dollar painted face appear on television during the Super Bowl (and that’s an assumption I personally would not make), why aren’t these women, who supposedly joined forces to help military families, helping the families of Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Doherty? Why are they still not helping the families at Fort Hood who are still looking for answers now years after Muslim terrorist Nidal Hasan murdered 13 and left more than 30 wounded and maimed?
Pat Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, a Marine and one of the four Americans the Obama woman’s husband allowed to be murdered in Benghazi, is asking for help in getting answers to her questions, and she is met with stonewalling and silence. Obama’s administration told her that she wasn’t immediate family and, therefore, not entitled to any information. Interesting how a child’s mother is redefined to less than immediate family when it suits Obama’s purposes.
Charles Woods, father of the murdered Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, is asking for answers, as well. What are the women, who were only to happy too have their faces plastered all over television during the holidays and Super Bowl doing to help his family? What about the family of Navy SEAL Glen Doherty whom Obama also allowed to be murdered in Benghazi? Aren’t their families military enough?
What about the military families at Fort Hood? Obama has lied to them and now just dismisses and ignores their pleas for help. He refuses to allow Hasan’s terrorist attack to be classified as a terrorist act and thus by Obama’s refusing to do same and ignoring all requests for it to be done the military families at Fort Hood are being denied full benefits for victims and their families. But the terrorist Hasan, approximately one year after his terrorist attack, had received $278,000 in pay since he murdered our Americans, retained his rank and received full medical coverage. Oh, I forgot. He’s a radical Muslim. Obama as president was all in on them.
“Joining forces” was launched with a cavalcade of fanfare. Michelle Obama held court at the White House, telling the media, “We should all be working together on this. These are pretty solid Americans out here that are making these sacrifices quietly for all the rest of us.” At least she got that part right but it would be nice if she acted like she meant it.
In the years since lauding her personal greatness and self-professed concern for military families, we have seen her attend a children’s award ceremony dressed like she was being cast for a lead role in an adult video movie; we’ve seen her (along with elementary and middle-school children) break the world record for jumping jacks on the White House lawn; we’ve seen her writhing around on the floor in front of Ellen DeGeneres while appearing on her show. We’ve seen her spend hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars exotic vacations and shopping sprees and since leaving the White House we’ve seen her attacking President Trump – but we’re still waiting to hear and/or see her show one bit of the concern she and Biden’s wife claimed to have for our military families when they promised to be “joining forces.”
The Obama woman’s husband watched in real time as Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Ambassador Stevens were murdered, because he refused to send resources that would have saved them. It was her husband who conspired with Hillary Clinton to have Susan Rice knowingly lie about what actually happened when the four Americans were murdered there. It was her husband who smiled as he called questions about the NSA data-mining our personal information and spying on our phone calls and cyber mail, questions about the IRS going after conservative groups, and, yes, even questions about what happened to the four men murdered in Benghazi, “phony scandals.” “Phony scandals” I might add, that have now been proven to be not only scandals but very factual scandals.
And, lest I be remiss, it was the Obama woman herself who with contorted face whispered to her husband either “look at how they fold that flag” or, as many believe, “all that for a damn flag.”
I submit that having Michelle Obama and Biden’s wife “join forces” in the interest of our military families has been as helpful to said families as Neville Chamberlain getting Adolf Hitler to sign the Munich Pact was to the Czechoslovakian people.
It simply confirms that she is as disingenuous as her husband with no more concern for our military than he has. For them the military is a prop to gin up favorable points in the polls.
