"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Rights Secured By The Constitution Cannot Be Abrogated by Robert Socha

“Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.” United States Navy Admiral David Farragut exclaimed during the battle of Mobile Bay in the Civil War. His inevitable charge aboard the wooden flagship, Hartford, helped the Union forces to cripple the Confederate ironclad Tennessee and secure the battle’s victory.

Similarly, today, the Democrat machine is firing verbal torpedoes at breakneck speed to curb free speech. Bill Gates and Hillary Clinton’s suggestions that speech be limited and prosecuted if deemed to be misinformation and the governor of California outlawing satirical memes and videos on social media platforms in his state are the first fruits of a severe restriction on the First Amendment’s speech protections and a dangerous precedent for the future of political warfare. Elon Musk must be shaking in his boots.

“Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them.” Miranda vs. Arizona, 384 US 436 p. 491.

The Left, in all of its infuriating meddling in the daily affairs of men, is moving at ludicrous speed to destroy any vestiges of Liberty still in the hands of the People and ruin these United States through the manipulation of energy production via the so called carbon-neutral wind and solar mandates, the forcing misnamed green energy technology such as electric vehicles down the automotive industry’s throat, the cloud seeding and food production manipulation, the suggestion that we should not eat, nor produce meat, but eat a diet rich in bugs and genetically modified vegetables, the refusal to enforce immigration law and the victimization of those who have come here illegally, the unbridled printing of money causing runaway inflation, the encouragement of “mostly peaceful” rallies that have destroyed cities and castigate the police as the enemy, the fierce rhetoric and demonization of political opponents leading to violent and deadly reactions, and especially weaponizing the Department of Justice against the same and jailing American’s for political dissidence, the incessant race-baiting (segue: we are one race of people) rhetoric that continually disparages the character of those whose low melanin content leaves a pale glow simply because their ancestors dared to explore the globe and settle a new continent, the constant push to abridge 2nd Amendment rights to gun ownership, and the above mentioned speech impediments all purposeful in their intent to create chaos and fear that silences those who would otherwise speak against the regime.

Suppose there are any thoughts that the international chaos affecting Ukraine, Israel, Chinese threats to Taiwan, North Korean threats to her neighbors to the south, Japan, and even the mainland United States are relevant and destabilizing. In that case, should a woman who has stated publicly that North Korea is a valuable ally become Commander in Chief and constantly repeats the Communist phrase of being unburdened by the past, it will only embolden our enemies to act on their threats.

These threats must not cow us into silence or cripple us with fear but fuel that celestial fire to continue to fight, fight, fight, defy the unconstitutional laws and bombast, and move full speed ahead into November’s battle for this experiment in liberty’s future.

May Samuel Adams’ exhortation remind us of our nation’s courageous history that does not shy away from conflict but meets it head-on:

“Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”
