Senate Republicans Are Working Harder to Defeat Trump Agenda Than To Repeal Obamacare
Jonathan Swan, writing for Axios, reported that Senate Republicans are preparing to send a Russia sanctions bill to President Trump that will effectively destroy all ability for the President to negotiate with Putin’s Russia. The bill has been rushed through the Senate on a 97-2 vote even as these very same Senate Republicans are doing their absolute best to not repeal obamacare.
Swan warns: “The bill is bad for diplomacy and bad for American companies – especially in the energy sector – who would be punished for doing international business with Russian companies.” (Axios; 7/9/2017)
Of even more concern, is that the Senate will override President Trump’s veto if the bill reaches his desk in its current incarnation. It would be a political nightmare for the President. The crazed leftist liberals and the “never trumpers” would portray his first presidential veto as a failed attempt to protect Russia. They and Satan’s children in the media would voice around the clock oratory, claiming the veto proved the President had conspired with the Russians to win the election and the attempted veto was proof of quid pro quo.
The administration is working feverishly to have waivers added to the bill that would give President Trump the flexibility to negotiate with Putin. That said, what Swan didn’t report is the reasoning behind this Erebusic and draconian bill.
The reasoning behind it is to force the Oval Office into making concessions to reprobate Republicans in exchange for their agreeing to add the waivers being requested by the President.
This is an unmitigated attempt to embarrass the President and to derail his agenda. But, I submit the most malicious reasoning behind the effort is that it’s an unveiled attempt to make President Trump vulnerable to impeachment even if the action failed.
I cannot prove it as of yet, but nothing dissuades me in believing that Karl Rove and the sinister wraiths who manipulate from the shadows for Republicans don’t have their fingerprints all over this bill. And before it is over I will know for sure.
Which the begs answer to the question: “Why are Republicans working harder to obstruct the President America has waited for since Ronald Reagan, than they are working to crush the Democrat Party into oblivion?”

The answer in part is that Republicans are not there to serve We the People or the country. They are there to get rich serving the interests of the nefarious entities who manipulate outcomes and incomes.
The President is faced with a situation that could force him to make concessions that would undermine his campaign promises and that will do harm to President Trump’s success in putting America back to work.
President Trump needs our support and he needs our voices. Every such attack on his administration is an attack on you and I. I put you in mind that well placed Capitol Hill sources, as do I and many others, are convinced it was Rove, who orchestrated the attacks and accusations of racism that led to the demise of the Tea Party. It was Karl Rove who publicly threatened, on Fox News programming, to ensure the defeat of Christine O’Donnell, R-DE, in the wake of her crushing defeat of incumbent Mike Castle, R-DE, one the most liberal left-wing Republicans ever elected. Even the late liberal Republican Arlen Specter paled in comparison to Castle as a liberal Republican. It is an open secret that Karl Rove and the minions who control him were responsible for the false accusations that destroyed presidential candidate Herman Cain’s candidacy. It was Rove and company who did their damnedest to prevent Donald Trump being elected President even if it meant helping Hillary Clinton win.
Our President is facing unparalleled opposition from Republicans we elected to represent our interests. Thus far he has defeated their efforts to block our President’s agenda and to stall his presidency. But the referenced bill can potentially change all of that. And of even more concern it could be the first of its kind that will be used to obstruct the one elected leader who actually loves America and genuinely cares about We the People.
Our marching orders can be nothing less than letting incumbents know that we will primary them, i.e., run an opponent against them if necessary. We must let them know that we are not afraid to lose a few seats to send them the message that they work for us and that we support President Trump.
This is not the time for the faint of heart. It is time to man-up and let our voices, desires, and intentions be made clear in no uncertain terms.
