So this is America today…
So this is what we’ve come to? In eugene, oregon the town council reached a compromise to allow the Pledge of Allegiance to be recited four times a year. I watched in disgust, nausea, insult, and unbelief as some smug oregonian disease, presenting himself as a human being said, “well, you know, the Pledge is divisive – it doesn’t bring people together.” The tragedy isn’t that the guy said it, it’s that he believed it. This is what liberalism has wrought. In 2002 the ninth circuit court of appeals found the Pledge unconstitutional, because he contained “under God.” This was so far over the top, that even tom daschle, the majority leader at that time, called it “nuts,” and daschle is nothing if not uber-liberal. This is what harvard, princeton, yale, anarchist educators, and activist courts have brought us. A 12 year girl can have an abortion during the school day w/out parental notification, that same 12 year cannot bow her head and give thks to God in the Name of Christ. Kindergarten children we are told need to learn how to put condoms on bananas and learn about homosexuality, but a 1st grader cannot wear a tee-shirt w/ John 3:16 on it. We have homosexual perversion and debauchery on level, you cannot watch television w/out being reminded of homosexuality, but these same people oppose a cross on the side of the road to memorialize war heroes. Building developments routinely make it a violation to fly the American Flag. Veterans in houston, texas have had to file lawsuits to be able to pray and invoke the name of God/Jesus at grave sites. Christmas has been changed to honor pagan earth worshippers, Easter is being removed from the public square to now being recognized as a day to roll/find colored eggs. What is America becoming? What has brought us to the point the country champions perversion, liars, frauds, anti-God measures, and anti-patriotism? Oh, silly me, I remember what it is – it’s called the end times. (MATTHEW 24:1-14)
