Tell the press "get over it"

A couple things I see that need to be addressed. First of all, let everyone of the pundits, talking heads, and media go after Hillary Clinton, Janet Napolitano, Eric Holder and Obama for Fast and Furious, and squandering taxpayer money in predictably failing green tech companies. Let them investigate Obama for a background, that gives less detail than that of a deep cover undercover operative.

Herman Cain has answered the questions he needed to answer. He didn’t duck, dodge, obfuscate, or engage in lawyer/political speak. He went “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren – people don’t go on with Greta with the nonsense that was swirling around Herman, if they’re guilty. Let’s see Holder and/or Napolitano go “On the Record” to discuss Fast and Furious with her.

If the media doesn’t like Herman’s answers, that’s to bad, he doesn’t have to satisfy them, he has to satisfy the voters and all indications are that we’re satisfied. And too prove it, the same day that Herman was subjected to an unforgivable felonious attack, his campaign had its biggest online fundraising day. The media, Karl Rove, and the Republican Party hierarchy should understand we’re not listening to them anymore.

They should also understand that we consider it an insult when they label our support of Herman as a protest vote. No votes have been cast yet, Herman’s support is growing because people are finding him to be real. People are finding him to be capable, trustworthy, and best equipped to put America back on the right path. We’re not little children who need them and Tokyo Rove to tell us how to think or what line to stand in.

There’s one more thing pursuant to the attacks on Herman. IF he weren’t a threat they wouldn’t be after him. If, as the talking heads blather, Herman had absolutely no chance of winning, why are they so intent on destroying him? There’s something else that I want to quickly touch on.

I have contempt for Obama typically reserved for elapids and Satan himself, that said and at the risk of giving him a compliment – let me ask this question. If Romney is the hands down, cannot loose, by the end of January he will have the nomination sown up, player Rove et al claim – why would Obama and company be going after Herman? Why wouldn’t he be leaking things about Romney? I have no respect for Politico and condemn them for not exposing the truth about Michelle Obama’s racist screed about white people that was captured on tape, at a Jeremiah Wright church conference where Louis Farrakhan’s wife was one of the guests of honor. But if Romney is the threat, why would they be going after Herman, unless it was because they viewed him as a “uppity Uncle Tom” who didn’t know his place? Why go after Herman in a way they didn’t and won’t go after Obama, unless Politico doesn’t view Obama as an uppity black, but as one of the trophy African village children that liberals and Hollywood types love to adopt as a means of showing off their wealth?

The only person with a dog in the hunt when it comes to taking out Herman Cain is Romney. And while I believe Romney is a dishonest, big government, big spending, R.I.N.O. Republican, I don’t believe he would at this time in the race, pull such skullduggery against Herman. But, being fully aware of Rove’s contempt for the Tea Party and his bitter resentment for the success of Sarah Palin, and the success of the Tea Party in the 2010 – and knowing he is responsible for setting up a shadow RNC, and his being responsible for torpedoing RNC people who wouldn’t play ball his way, sabotaging Herman has Rove’s fingerprints all over it.

And one more thing before I finish this thought. We know that media outlets are being encouraged to destroy Herman. That said, if more attacks are directed at Herman and none are directed at Romney or Newt, then we will know beyond shadow of doubt that the attacks are personal and that they’re coming from Rove and those bent on Romney being the nominee.

One final thought. Today the Drudge Report had a banner at the top of his page. On the right half of the banner is a picture of Herman Cain, on the left side is a picture of Obama – with a caption that says “Is America Ready” – the inference being rather obvious. My answer is yes America is ready. I have been on record for decades that America was ready to elect any qualified person to be president regardless of whether that person is a woman or a person of color. I have also said that I believed abortion played a large part in there not being an intelligent patriotic person of color who was proud of America, being elected president before now. And Herman proves it.
