There’s A Reason Covid19 Doesn’t Pass Smell Test

I may be a born-again Christian and ordained minister, but I’ve been hands on involved in politics for nearly 50 years. That said, I’m not given to wild-eyed, chicken-little, the sky is falling, run for your life conspiracy theories either. But, I do have an above average olfactory system and right now mine is telling me, that what I’m seeing orchestrated through the media and World Health Organizations doesn’t pass my smell test.

I lived through real national health concerns when I was a child as did many of you who are reading this, e.g., polio, mumps, rubella, measles, and chickenpox. Smallpox was all but a distant memory by the time I was in grade school. I, as have most of you, lived through SARS, MERS, Swine flu, Bird flu, H1N1, and the AIDS panic.

The World Health Organization (WHO) wasn’t clamoring about global pandemics then. Health organizations including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are not showing a particular abundance of concern about the diseases from homeless encampments in Nancy Pelosi’s district of San Francisco. The very real disease threats from these toxic encampments and environs are realistic dangers across America. Why no concerns being voiced about them?

I’m not saying that Covid19 isn’t a flu to be taken seriously, but I am saying the extremes the threat of same are being prostituted are making me more than a little suspicious.

The coronavirus is a flu. Nothing more and nothing less. I’m not marginalizing death, but people die from the so-called common cold. Every flu season free flu shots are advertised in every pharmacy/drug store in America; accompanied with jeremiads of the potential numbers who will die from the flu.  I should say a flu shot that the recipient has no idea what it contains. But I digress.

What doesn’t smell right to me is the promoting of irrational paranoia. Entire college/university campuses are being closed, with whatever classes possible being taught online. The opening of the professional baseball season is being put off for a growing number of teams. Soccer, the most popular sporting event in the world is seeing games and tournaments cancelled. Formula 1, racing season is being threatened. Professional sports in America have closed locker rooms and are giving serious consideration to closing stadiums. College tournaments are being cancelled.

Global markets are being driven to disruption. So-called cable news/business programming are doing their best undermine confidence in the markets and recovery but carefully choosing words that drive up fear. So-called news/business programming like FoxNews Business blaring headlines that read: “Dow, S&P Plunge Into Bear Market.” They follow that with what amounts to a drumroll just before they announce the number of points the markets fell. They make no mention of the fact that the markets are still well ahead of where they were when President Trump took office.

The Hill.com another of the anti-President Trump propaganda news systems referred to the coronavirus task force members as: “Trump’s handpicked team.” As if committees and task forces are not handpicked. I’ve served on committees of some type dating back to 1972 and the committees that people served on in high school in the 1960s were handpicked by a person or group of persons.

I admit that I am not a flu virus expert, but I know the difference in smell between lilacs and chicken manure – and the chicken manure doesn’t have to be spread in the field for me to tell the difference.

Earlier this week I said: Covid19 is a virus that is most threatening to elderly people with respiratory issues and persons with compromised immune systems. For everyone else is is essentially a bad cold or flu. Making it out to be more than that is irresponsible. The fact that it is spreading across areas of Italy and the Middle East, should make those nations reconsider buying rice and seafood from a country that has polluted their water tables and countryside surrounding Wuhan; but more on that factoid in upcoming commentary exclusive to my website and my nationally syndicated audiences.

The media is breathlessly giving death and contracted virus numbers multiple times daily, just as they always do when fighting/war breaks out with a Republican in the White House. But reporting of those numbers disappears quicker than a sighting of Bigfoot when a Democrat is in office.

I can tell you that more people will pass away in today’s 24 hour period from the flu and severe colds, than will pass away from covid19 or the number of people who will even contract covid19 this entire 7 day week. And I am not remotely joking or exaggerating.

The writing is on the wall for this flu virus to become a global disaster, which is precisely what “global pandemic” suggests.

The global economy is going to take a massive hit. Because of the prostitution of unfounded fear the job growth will be potentially effected at the time of year that more jobs are created. Professional sports bring massive numbers of jobs, including those that go unnoticed, e.g. silk screen jobs, printing jobs, beverage and food and candy industries, ad nauseum. If sporting arenas, schools, and shopping venues are being closed and events are being cancelled the impact will be felt in every wallet.

Thus, it is not just a global virus event they are branding a pandemic, but it becomes the genesis for a global economic crisis. That means, the very people who turned a non crisis into a global frightmare will be the people who purpose to rectify the situation, and that means you and I will get shafted in that part of the anatomy we do not discuss in polite social circles.

Why is it that the media and politicians are doing their best to engender fear instead of promoting a factual and positive narrative? One that tells We the People the truth, said being, that this is America and we’re going to overcome this ahead of expectations. Stay calm, this is realistically no worse than a flu and we’ll have this under control as quickly as possible, if not sooner.

Remember the AIDS scare in 1980? Do you recall how the government and the very same world groups that are right now crying the sky is falling were doing their darnedest to convince people they had nothing to be afraid of? Remember we were told it couldn’t be spread by kissing, hugging, touching, and crying? That was immediately after reports began circulating that AIDS could be transmitted through each of those ways. People who dared not to conform to the narrative health organizations and politicians wanted conveyed were publicly ridiculed. Remember professional basketball players refusing to play if Magic Johnson played when it was found out he had AIDS? Do you also recall how short-lived that was? Today if a person is bleeding on the field, football not included, the player is removed to have a bandaid administered or a tissue stuffed in a nostril for a bloody nose and they are back on the playing surface.

The so-called media and politicians should be promoting common sense caution and reminding people that this is a flu virus.

The number of people who get the covid19 flu virus means absolutely nothing. It’s like reporting the number of people who come down with loose bowels. Big deal! With very few exceptions when taken as a whole, the number of persons in America who come down with this virus will be back to life as usual within a matter of days.

But that factoid isn’t being reported. Here’s one more thing the lamebrain media and politicians hellbent on destroying President Trump are not telling the public either, and it comes from the august New England Journal of Medicine. James Hyak reporting for American Truth Today wrote: An editorial published Friday in the New England Journal of Medicine speculated that the coronavirus currently causing panic in world markets could turn out no worse than “a severe seasonal influenza” in terms of mortality.

Citing an analysis of the available data from the outbreak in China, the authors note that there have been zero cases among children younger than 15; and that the fatality rate is 2% at most, and could be “considerably less than 1%.”

Those who have died have been elderly or were already suffering from another illness — as with ordinary flu. The underlying data suggest that the symptoms varies, and fewer than one in six of the cases reported were “severe.”

The authors note that coronavirus looks to be much less severe than other recent outbreaks of respiratory illnesses:

[T]he overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively.

I personally believe an argument can be made that lurking somewhere in the shadows are nefarious elapidae marplots whose sole function is to stop the rise of independent governance for the people of every country who so desire, juxtaposed to the forced acceptance of globalism.
