‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Time To Abandon Republican Party: They’ve Abandoned Us

January 5, 2016

The late American Congregationalist Minister, Howard Arnold Walter, in 1906 wrote one of my favorite poems, titled “I Would Be True.’ Walter began his poem with the following: “I would be true, for there are those who trust me.”

That opening line is what our federal government, i.e., those whom we pay and finance to act in our best interest, have transpicuously chosen to ignore. We trusted them to honor the Constitution of the United States and to honor their oath of office and our trust was tragically misplaced.

The most recent visible act of this is Paul Ryan and the Karl Rove-Reince Priebus controlled Republican Party passing the omnibus spending bill for Obama. It was by no means their only act; it was just the one that outraged true small-government conservatives the most.

Voters trusted the Republican Party to not use our tax dollars to refund Planned Parenthood. We the People trusted the Republican Party to be true to their words that it was not the taxpayers’ duty to finance Planned Parenthood’s half-billion dollars a year income derived by murdering children. People trusted them to be true, even though I warned last August, that the Republicans had a plan in hand to continue funding the Hitlerian baby-murdering juggernaut.

We trusted the federal government to honor Article IV, Section 3, Clause 2: Property Clause which according to the “proprietary theory”, i.e., the narrowest conception of same. I and others argue it is an unavoidable conclusion that our Founding Fathers did not intend for We the People to be treated pursuant to our private property as was the case with Nevada ranchers the Cliven Bundy family and now with Dwight and Steven Hammond, who are father and son ranchers in Oregon.

The rightful ownership of property and the right to do with same as we please is one of the greatest guarantees under the Constitution of the United States. It sets us apart from the rest of the free world by ensuring the opportunity for every person in America to pass along wealth to his or her progeny.

We trusted government to be true to the Declaration of Independence, which assures We the People of the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. At no time did we understand the Constitution to give the federal government the right to tax us for the support of foreign governments whose citizens are sworn to overturn our system of life and our government. At no time did our Founding Fathers envision our being taxed for the support of illegal aliens or for the genital mutilation of men and women called “sex change operations”. And they certainly didn’t intend for taxpayers to fund these mutilations for those in prison.

I grew up at a time when most people viewed our government and our Representatives as worthy of our trust. Little could we have imagined that those we were trusting, in these latter years, were not interested in truth but were interested in depriving us of our right to worship (unless we are Muslims or Satanists).

Little could we have imagined that our trust would result in our children not being allowed to openly pray in public schools and at our military academies. Little could we have imagined that our trust in government would mandate we support sexual debauchery and depravity.

Our Founding Fathers intended government to be truthful precisely because they wanted We the People to be able to trust that our best interests would always be paramount. Our Founding Fathers did not intend those in government to only meet and give attention to those who wrote the largest checks.

We are witnessing our so-called representatives abandon all they promised to those who trusted them. We have been lied to and deceived with forethought and conspiratorial intent.

The time has come to dismantle government, as it now exists. The time in the “Course of human events” that demands it “necessary for a people to dissolve the political bands which have connected with another” is now.

As a great public servant once said: “We have a rendezvous with destiny.” Our Founding Fathers knew and understood that what America represented and provided was worth fighting and dying for to maintain. We can approach our destiny and the destiny of our children with no less resolve.

[dropcap]It is time for us abandon the Republican Party as it now exists and as it has come to be represented. It is time for us to pledge to show support for God, family, and country. The Republican Party no longer honors these three principles except when they play-act for our votes.[/dropcap]
