‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

To Our Great Shame by Robert Socha

To our eternal shame and demise, we have abandoned our cultural norms in the traditions of our fathers, specifically the chastening and self-denial that accompany sincere and deep faith in God the Father and Christ Jesus the Lord. Instead, we have replaced that with belief in a false messiah whose gospel comes without repentance and has infiltrated the church as a god with the same name, “Jesus.”

The consequences of such deleterious actions are myriad and have stoked the unbridled passions of man into a hedonistic debauched culture whose ultimate end is pleasure and comfort. Instead of living to please God, we live and have “faith” to please self, whereas the true Gospel demands that we deny ourselves, take up our Cross, and follow Christ.

Please allow me a moment to explain my reasoning through a recent example. Over the years, our local library has been slowly including more and more materials geared toward the homosexual community and the ideas of CRT and white privilege. (Any race-baiting material is only bent on division and control.) This moral collapse came to a head when the librarians set up a prominent display in the children’s section of at least two picture books that included children having either two dads or two moms. The subtle nuance appears innocuous, but concerned citizens turned out to express their extreme displeasure at such repugnant, and politically charged material prominently displayed targeting five-year-olds! Since homosexuality cannot procreate naturally, the slippery slope toward indoctrination into this aberrant lifestyle is evident and unwelcome. On the other hand, an almost equal number of lesbians came out in force to express the need to include these aberrations, because to silence them would be tantamount to the book-burning tactics of Nazi Germany. (I believe their numbers were excessive relative to their actual representation in the community, I digress.)

During public comment, the arguments for and against continued for over an hour. They referenced the materials but also geared toward one of the library’s board member’s recommendation to amend the process on how the Librarian chooses books to exclude politically charged materials presented to children.

The catalyst for this piece was a United Methodist Pastor publicly shaming those of us who stand against these Marxist attempts to swing the culture into full-fledged debauchery. (I know we are already there.) His pompous claim of wisdom, the Lord loves and accepts those who have chosen the lifestyle of homosexuality and his foolishly despicable castigation of those who would repudiate their imagined right to indoctrinate our children through picture books. After all, we have freedom of expression, again, I digress.

I agree that God is Love and His love is infinite. However, I adamantly disagree that He accepts exchanging the truth of His creation, male and female becoming one flesh, for the lie that a man can lie with a man as he lies with a woman, or vice-versa. Scripture explicitly condemns such behavior!

Preaching a gospel without repentance is no Gospel. When Jesus engaged sinners, He commanded them to go and sin no more. He accepted their humanity, confronted their sin, and released them to the freedom and liberty that comes from Faith and Repentance. He shed His blood on that old rugged Cross 2,000 years ago to open the eyes of the blind and set the captive free!

Homosexuality is captivity! It is never satisfied and has morphed into more egregious blasphemies, namely the new phenomenon of trans….

I am not phobic. At the same time, I will not bow to the pressure to accept these “alternative” lifestyles as normal and healthy. They are the exact opposite. And I purposely did not write out the word that didn’t exist in the English language until very recently (check an unabridged dictionary from the 1980s or before) because it is a relentless attempt to degenerate our culture to the baser elements of human nature. It also alarmingly targets the most innocent among us to confuse their identity and conscript them into their ranks.

There is a fountain that flows with healing in its waters. It flows from Calvary, and everywhere this river flows brings life. The challenge, of course, is we have to believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him, setting the captive free!

Take action and share this!
