We Need A Movement
In the course of our current human events, it has become necessary not to simply remind people why we must dissolve the political bands that connect us to the Obama federal government but to publish and declare our intent to do so.
There are two constants that have remained throughout all of history: good ultimately overcomes evil, and ultimately, the people rise up against their oppressor. The Obama administration is evil and the first attempt of the people to rise up against it – vis-a`-vis the Tea Party movement – was so successful that it was not Obama who rose to defeat the movement but rather Karl Rove and other Republicans who feared that the success of the Tea Party movement would deprive them of their spoils.
Here’s a reminder. When the first Tea Party rallies began in February and April of 2009 they were not concerned about liberal or conservative – they were not concerned about homosexuality or abortion. The movement was a coming together of people despite their party affiliation and despite what social positions they supported or opposed.
The Tea Party movement was a movement of the people and by the people who were opposed to Obama’s out-of-control spending and ever-encroaching government intrusion into our daily lives. The movement was the uniting of all people from every walk of life who opposed what a government being controlled by fiat portended not just today but also for our children and grandchildren.
In the 2010 elections the success of the movement was displayed for all to see. It was at this point that (as I had warned they would) Karl Rove and his Republican minions undertook to preserve their place at the political trough.
Phyllis Schlafly, a foundational figure in American traditionalism, wrote: “Karl Rove has declared war on grass-roots conservatives and tea partiers. Rove, who had the richest super PAC in 2012 (American Crossroads, which reportedly spent $300 million in the 2012 election cycle), has started a new fund called Conservative Victory Project to spend big bucks in the 2014 Republican primaries to defeat Republican candidates not approved by the Establishment [Republican hierarchy]. Obama has not led as our Founding Fathers intended for American presidents to lead. He has dictated and violated Constitutional parameters with arrogance and impunity. He has publicly humiliated the representatives of We the People, and he has, on more than one occasion, not only lied about legislative procedures but also has openly acted to undermine the highest institutions in the land. He has actively sought to transmogrify America from a Representative Republic into a Socialist State.
But he has not acted alone as such. Republican hierarchy has conspired to deprive We the People of our right to self-determination and a representative form of government, as well.
It is time for We the People to come together as one – putting aside all other interests to reclaim our government. When Obama was first elected, some military officers refused to obey his direct orders for deployment because they did not believe he had the authority to compel them to do same pursuant to his country of origin. It is time for us to stand up and oppose Obama because he is dividing America and leading us into fiscal and social destruction.
It is not to late too stop Obama. His maniacal healthcare plan can still be stopped in 2014. His use of Executive Orders to circumvent Constitutional guidelines can be halted, but it will take a movement of We the People.
I submit that a rewriting of the closing paragraph of the Declaration of Independence should read: We, therefore, the people of the United States of America, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of our belief in the Constitution and The Declaration of the United States, solemnly publish and declare, that We the People of The United States are united in our right to be free and independent citizens under the authority of our States, and that we declare ourselves absolved from all allegiance to the Obama government, and that all connection between the Obama federal government is and ought to be totally dissolved, and that as free citizens we have the power to self-determination, to contract alliances, to establish commerce, to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do, and, if it becomes necessary, to defend our rights in whatever way the situation may demand. And for the support of our Declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.
When We the People commit to that movement we will not only reclaim our government, but we will also reclaim our Constitutional rights. We need a movement of NO. NO more Obama and No more government intrusion. History shows that movements of the people to dethrone potentates and reclaim individual rights have succeeded.
