‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

What kind of grade is our so-called world without God’s consequences getting today? by “Brother Bill”

OVER-COMERS GUIDE: What kind of grade is our so-called world without God’s consequences getting today? Will we rely on the same lies and liars that got us into this mess or turn to the author of truth?

Today we’re pointing to who do we trust ,a deep conviction: human systems (science, economics, education, media, medicine, sociology) can and do fail, and that failure drives people back to the only unchanging anchor — God.  I’ll do two things in this reply: (A) give a brief biblical framing in NKJV that addresses “What does it mean that Jesus has overcome the world / that God bids us reason?” and (B) supply a report card of  concrete, up-to-date statistics (with sources) that illustrate the real-world failures alread named so they’re not just impressions but documented facts we can reason about.

1 — Short biblical frame (NKJV quotations)

• Isaiah’s appeal to reason: “Come now, and let us reason together,” saith the LORD, “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” — Isaiah 1:18 NKJV.

This is God inviting rational engagement and repentance, not blind allegiance.

• Jesus on “overcoming the world”: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 NKJV.

That doesn’t mean the systems are fixed — it means Christ wins the final victory and gives peace and perspective in the midst of broken systems.

• Truth exposing falsehood: “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.” — Luke 8:17 NKJV.

And: “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32 NKJV.

• Action to expose darkness: “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” — Ephesians 5:11 NKJV.

God calls reasoning, exposure, repentance, and reliance on His unchanging nature (Hebrews 13:8 — “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever”).

2 — Statistics that illustrate systemic failures (key points + sources)

Below are succinct, documented facts that match the problems we are looking at. I cite reputable sources for each so you can check details.

1.Health care — highest spending but poorer outcomes vs peers

• Fact: The U.S. spends far more of GDP on health care than peer countries (about ~16–18% of GDP in recent years), yet does not consistently have better outcomes (life expectancy and some population health metrics lag many OECD countries). We might have to look at the root cause, food, chemicals,EMF,heavy metals in Dental, preservatives, lack of minerals in our soil etc.

(See Commonwealth Fund and OECD “Health at a Glance” / global comparisons.)

2.Education — high spending but mixed results on international tests

• Fact: The U.S. spends a lot per student (among the higher spenders), yet PISA scores show the U.S. is near or just above OECD average in some domains and below leading countries in math; results have generally been flat or declined in some areas. Example: math score 2022 ~465 vs OECD average 472 (PISA 2022). China trains 1/3 students in engineering while we only train 1/20 students in engineering and wonder why we are loosing the technology race, check our math scores.

3.Addiction / mental-health reliance — very large numbers and continuing crisis

• Fact: Drug overdose deaths remain a very large public-health problem in the U.S. — roughly hundreds of thousands of deaths over recent years; provisional CDC counts for 2023 show on the order of ~105,000drug overdose deaths (with opioids implicated in the majority), and 2024/2025 reporting indicates important year-to-year shifts but still extremely high tolls. Sooo it seems we want to feel good without doing well.

4.Social order — very high incarceration rate

• Fact: The U.S. incarceration rate historically is among the highest in the world (hundreds per 100,000 population; sources place it in the ~500–600 prisoners per 100,000 range depending on year and measure). This reflects deep social, legal, and institutional problems. John Adams said that our laws aren’t enough to control a population that isn’t Godly.

5.Economics & asset bubbles — criticisms of policies that can produce instability

• Fact: Modern macroeconomic and financial-market scholarship (and institutions like the IMF) document how monetary, regulatory, and incentive structures can create asset bubbles, procyclicality, and misallocated risk; economists debate causes (monetary policy, regulatory gaps, institutional incentives). Critiques of certain Keynesian tools and of unregulated finance are part of the literature.

Yet we still don’t teach Austrian economics that says we let the markets manage the economy live within our means and don’t keep blowing bubbles of fake success and recessions and depressions. So, when people discover they have been manipulated and the so-called experts and congress that saw it coming sold their own stock before the bill came due.

3 — Short synthesis — what Jesus’ victory means practically for these failures

• Jesus “overcoming the world” doesn’t mean every earthly system will immediately work perfectly. Scripture shows revival, repentance, institutional reform, and transformed hearts are needed. The victory is both present (Christ empowers truth, courage, and mercy now) and future (final righting of wrongs). John 16:33 gives believers peace and perseverance in broken systems, Isaiah 1:18 invites reasoning plus repentance, and Luke 8:17 / Ephesians 5:11 call us to expose and correct what is hidden or wrong.

• That matches our point: disciplines (science, economics, sociology, medicine, education, media) are tools — powerful but limited and fallible because we remain sinful and finite. When those tools are used apart from biblical wisdom (love of God, humility, repentance, truth), they can become lethal or deceptive.

4 — Practical next steps you can take (short, actionable)

1.Use Isaiah 1:18 as your posture: reason + repent + test systems honestly.

2.Combine soberness with mercy: expose errors (Eph. 5:11) but aim for repair and restoration, not only condemnation.

3.When evaluating policy or science, look for outcomes consequences (mortality, learning, wellbeing) not just intentions or inputs (spending). The sources above are good places to start for outcomes data.

“Reason vs. Revelation”

Sooo I’ll leave you with this: truth-seeking and faith aren’t enemies. God invites rigorous reasoning (Isa. 1:18), promises to expose what’s false (Luke 8:17), and gives the victory and peace (John 16:33) so that we can act wisely and courageously in reforming broken systems.

That’s a profoundly insightful and theologically loaded question — one that cuts to the heart of spiritual warfare, discernment, and truth. Let’s unpack this carefully with NKJV Scripture and clear reasoning.

🔥 1. Who and What Is Satan?

Satan is not a creator — he is a corrupter.

He cannot invent truth, life, or love; he can only twist what God has already made good.

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.

When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

— John 8:44 (NKJV)

Origin:

He was originally a high angel (Lucifer) who rebelled out of pride and self-exaltation.

“For you have said in your heart:

‘I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

… I will be like the Most High.’”

— Isaiah 14:13–14 (NKJV)

Fall:

He rejected God’s wisdom for his own “light.”

Lucifer means light-bearer, but that light became darkness.

🕳️ 2. What Satan Is Against

1. God’s Authority

He despises divine order and wants independence from Gods guardrails.

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,

And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”

— 1 Samuel 15:23 (NKJV)

2. Truth

He constantly seeks to distort what is true.

“Has God indeed said…?”

— Genesis 3:1 (NKJV)

That question—casting doubt on God’s word—is the oldest satanic strategy. Satan offer’s knowledge without Gods wisdom.

3. Humanity’s Relationship with God

He seeks separation between God and His creation.

“Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

— 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

💀 3. What Satan Is For?

He’s for anything that achieves self-deification — man becoming his own god unto death without salvation.

1. Pride and Self-Worship

“Because your heart is lifted up,

And you say, ‘I am a god’…

Yet you are a man, and not a god.”

— Ezekiel 28:2 (NKJV)

2. Deception and False Light

He masquerades as wisdom and enlightenment.

“For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”

— 2 Corinthians 11:14 (NKJV)

That’s why he gives “just enough knowledge to kill ourselves without God’s wisdom.”

Knowledge without humility, truth, and love becomes poison. Subduction sells green benefits without ever showing the consequences, pleasure before pain is the wide way.

(Science saviour or sacrifice?Think of atomic science used for war, or technology used for surveillance and deception.)

3. Destruction

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”

— John 10:10 (NKJV)

Satan’s vision of “freedom” leads to chaos, slavery, and death.

🩸 4. Jesus’ Way of Dealing with Satan

Jesus didn’t debate Satan’s logic — He answered with the Word and refused the bait.

“Then Jesus said to him, ‘Away with you, Satan! For it is written,

“You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.”’”

— Matthew 4:10 (NKJV)

Notice Jesus’ model:

1.He identifies the lie.

2.He rebukes it with Scripture.

3.He submits to God’s will instead of self-preservation or pride.

That’s the pattern for us.

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

— James 4:7 (NKJV)

⚖️ 5. Satan’s Strategy in the World Today

System or Sphere Satan’s Counterfeit God’s Truth

Science Knowledge without moral boundaries Wisdom rooted in Creator’s design (Prov. 9:10)

Economics Greed and debt slavery Stewardship and generosity (Matt. 6:24)

Psychology Self as savior Renewal of the mind in Christ (Rom. 12:2)

Sociology/Politics Control and manipulation Servant leadership and justice (Mic. 6:8)

Media Illusion and fear Truth and light (Phil. 4:8)

Religion Works-based pride or hypocrisy Grace and relationship (Eph. 2:8–9)

🕊️ 6. How We Identify with Christ Against Satan

1.Through truth and humility — we discern deception by staying in God’s Word.

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” — John 17:17

2.Through obedience — we break Satan’s power by refusing his lies.

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.” — John 8:31

3.Through discernment — Jesus said we’d know false spirits by their fruits.

“You will know them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16

4.Through the Spirit — Christ gives us authority over darkness.

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,

and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

— Luke 10:19
