‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

What Makes Us Worthy In God’s Eyes? by ‘Brother Bill’

February 25, 2026
Jesus directly challenged the mindset of spiritual superiority that characterized many of the Pharisees.
For example, in Luke 18:9–14, Jesus tells of the Pharisee and the tax collector. The Pharisee trusted in his own righteousness, while the tax collector cried out for mercy — and Jesus said the humble man went home justified.
So what does Jesus say is “good enough”?
Not heritage.
Not education.
Not religious performance.
Not comparison.
He points to humility, repentance, obedience, and true holiness.
Below are complete NKJV verses that speak directly about holiness, being sanctified (set apart), and living in the world without becoming like it.
📖 Holiness — What God Calls “Good”
1 Peter 1:15–16 (NKJV)
But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
Holiness is not superiority — it is reflecting God’s character.
📖 Sanctified — Set Apart by Truth
John 17:14–17 (NKJV)
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
Jesus says we are in the world — but not of it.
Set apart by truth, not pride.
📖 What God Requires
Micah 6:8 (NKJV)
He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Notice:
Not compete.
Not condemn.
Not compare.
Walk humbly.
📖 Sanctified Through Christ
Hebrews 10:10 (NKJV)
By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
We are made holy by Christ’s sacrifice — not by outperforming others.
📖 True Separation from the World’s Spirit
Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Transformation — not comparison.
📖 Pure Religion
James 1:27 (NKJV)
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Holiness shows up as compassion and integrity.
What Is “Good Enough” According to Jesus?
   •   A humble heart (Luke 18)
   •   Obedience flowing from love
   •   Set apart by truth
   •   In the world, but not shaped by its pride
   •   Mercy over judgment
   •   Transformation over competition
The Pharisees compared and condemned.
Jesus calls us to be sanctified, not superior.
Sooo we are called to be special but none superior because it all Jesus Christ. Sooo all we get to do is be in this world but not of the world serving God through Jesus Christ by serving man. Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Blessed journey with Jesus Christ.  brother bill/dad
