The Obama’s are not deity, even though it is becoming apparent that many Christian people have forgotten that simple, indisputable fact.
And even though the Obama’s may act and behave with said exalted demeanor – I know something those professing Christ need to remember and it’s something that the Obama’s darn sure need to be put in mind of.
In the Old Testament Book of 1 Kings 16:1-4, God made a statement that we ought remember, and it’s something which the Obama’s might at least feign being aware. First, for the believers – in verses 2 and 3, God references himself in a way that leaves no question and no doubt who is in control…He is. He makes that emphatically clear as He punctuates that “He had exalted and He would take away.”
I point this out because, I am tired of hearing people (especially believers in Christ) telling me that that if Obama wins another term, he will destroy the country. The bottom line is we don’t know what will happen if Obama gets re-elected neither do we know what will happen if he doesn’t. What we should know is that Obama is not above God or God‘s plans.
I am emphatic when I say this – as much as I want him and his wife out of our building, I’m not quaking in fear nor am I losing sleep, if as I suspect, he is gets another term. I believe that God is charge and nothing, not even a bird falling from the sky does so without Him. I embrace Primitive Theology that dictates God is above all and over all – and said being the case I accept that He is in charge and that even when things appear to be spiraling downhill and out of control – pursuant to His eschatological plan, things are working their way in concert with same. I’m not being fatalistic as such, I am simply confident that nothing that happens will be out of God‘s control.
Did you read what I just said? I’ll repeat it, I said: “I’m not being fatalistic as such, I am simply confident that nothing that happens will be out of God‘s control.” If God protected Daniel in the lion’s den, the Hebrew children in the fiery furnace, David from Saul, and provided for His people through the treachery perpetrated against Joseph by his siblings – He can take care of things here. And if I were to be eaten by the lions so to speak, I know where I’m spending eternity.
I don’t fear Obama, I fear God, which bring me to my other point. Obama and his wife would do well to read the passages of scripture I referenced above. God said in verse 2: “Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people” and in verse 3, “behold I will take away the posterity of Baasha,” and in verse 4, God said, “him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat…” (New Scofield Reference Bible, King James Version)
Specific to my point is this. The Obama’s are high and mighty now, but she could choke to death on a pea, and he could fall head first down the steps of Air Force One, suffer a massive stroke, or have a heart attack in the middle of a screed. And let me hasten to add this: I may engage in sardonic jocularity at their expense, and even though I make no pretense of holding them in the lowest of contempt, I’m in no way wishing them evil. However, I am saying, that while he is claiming it’s his Christian responsibility to rape, loot, plunder, and fundamentally transform the country into a communist state – he would do well to remember that he and his wife are not above God.
And from my vantage point, it’s better for them to keep that thought in mind, that it is necessary for me to quake and tremble about that which God has in His control, i.e., the future.
But, hey, what the heck, that’s just the way I see things.

To you, sir, God bless. You have stated your position quite eloquently and put our country's current circumstances in proper perspective. I for one have to keep reminding myself that, indeed, God is in control. I know this unequivocally but continue to wonder if this is "the beginning of the end" by putting Obama back in the White House. If so, to God be the Glory. If not, to God be the Glory. Hopefully we're not "there" yet. Will meet you in Glory no matter the outcome.
God’s will? Who’s God Mychal? My God? Your God?,or Obama’s God Alla? Seems like Obama’s God is doing his thing right now. I don’t fear my God because I know he loves me as I love him. He has shown his love many, many times for me. I do know that he wills me to do his bidding. My God helps me as long as I help myself, and he will do the same for all of us. He will not do it by himself but only with our co-operation. His will is given to us to go forth and do what is right. It’s his will that gives us the power to change our lives. I believe it is God’s will given to you Mychal, to do what you do with this rant. May God grant us his will to overcome Obama and his God. Amen.

Amen Mychal! I was just having this conversation with a friend at church. Regardless what happens after November 2012, God is still sovereign and has a plan. I loved your line about not being fatalistic but confident that He is in control even when things seem hopeless or in total chaos. You really know how to run a guy’s day and my thought process pertaining to Obama and the missue. Fortunately through the program of AA and my church I can get out of that funk and agree with you on this issue. I cannot wish the man well but I can as God to restore that our nation. As a man I can only assist in a very small part of our nation but God cna cover a much larger territory. I will do what I can and place the rest in His hands.

Due to circumstances of life, some people are only able to do so much, and under your circumstances you do what you can do, and you pray asking God to restore our nation.
Like the Israelites, held as slaves by the Egyptians… what could they do but their job well and pray to ask God to deliver them.
But to everyone else, those able to shoulder more… stop squandering your time, money and emotional energy getting all worked up over things like Super Bowl– Watching two football teams whose owners gave Obama 5K each. I read that this last Superbowl had the highest viewership of any Superbowl, and is now in the top five of most watched TV broadcasts ever! Not only are people wasting precious energy on nonsense, they are supporting their very enemy, by supporting sources of funds for liberal media and therein Obama who already has a billion dollar campaign war chest.
I understand people need a little emotional release, but there is also a time for men to be men and to realize that this is not a game. People’s way of life, quality of live, and values they hold dear are disappearing. Their own children’s futures are disappearing.
Obama is not a deity, but the prince of darkness does guide Obama. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
That said, there are many things God could have outright done on his own, but he required humans to do their part too. The destruction of the walls of Jericho would be one. God could have just knocked the enemies walls down any time he wanted, but he required the Israelites to march around them for six days, doing particular things and then on the seventh day to march around the wall, blow horns and shout.
For those who are fully capable, we need to get engaged and to do more. Whether that be down on our knees praying more and reading the Bible, whether that be cutting a check for a candidate who supports our values, or calling Senators and Congressmen daily, or manning phone banks, or going door to door, or witnessing our faith to others… the time is now! I know you are busy, but spending 15 – 30 minutes a day to secure your future is a lot less costly than you and your children living under a murderous dictator.
Now we have freedom to do this… four years later, maybe not!
I was impressed that Senator Grassley, responding to Obama’s comment (“if congress won’t do it, I’ll do it myself) that “this is not a monarchy. We don’t do it that way here”. I went so far as to email him (really his office. I’m not quite so vain as to believe that he really read it) and thank him for standing up and that I wished more in congress had his back bone. We need leaders and I don’t see any in this group of GOP candidates throwing rocks at each other. Any of them would be better than the swine we have, but the game is going to be with words, not facts (as usual). Even though he’s not my first choice, Newt has more intelligence than Barry O. ever lied he had and certainly has the knowledge of history, the debating skills and knows how that quagmire works in DC. Thank you for another “Rant” that makes some excellent points. There are also some very valid and well-expressed considerations in the comments by Sumitch, David, Bill Sr. and Fullcirclethinker, among others. One particular and central point that must not be ignored is that “God helps those that help themselves.” for it is imperative that if we expect His help and guidance we must accept our own responsibility to take the actions necessary to accomplish our goals. There are dark, evil forces at work in the world and the obamas and their ilk are currently powerful servants of that darkness most directly affecting our country and if or when we fall, ultimately the whole planet will succumb. Yes, I believe that in the end God, or however one refers to the Supreme Being, will prevail. However, I also believe that in the course of reaching that end there will be horrendous suffering and travail afflicting mankind but that much of it can be avoided if enough of us do stand up on our hind legs now and work to defeat these perpetrators of the subjugation of all of us. History proves that evil forces and men WILL rule if good men do nothing to resist while expecting their God to protect them. We came to this earth with God-given free agency to make our own decisions and if we fail to do what we must in upholding our end of that priceless gift, we will lose it by default to those whose lust for power knows no bounds, i.e., obama, his appointees, many legislators and judges, the UN, etc., the list is long and very daunting. I cannot believe it is God’s will that any man enslave another man but one only needs to look at the history of the human race to see how many high civilizations have destroyed themselves through the complacency and greed of citizens who chose to “let George do it.” Well, George Washington and his compatriots did it for us and we cannot let their sacrifices that were followed and sanctified by the blood of millions of other Americans on the fields of battle be in vain. The enemy has already been allowed into the gate and if not stopped, the freedoms we still have will disappear like a puff of smoke on the wind.

Catholic priests will continue to begger young men if we don’t do something. God didn’t give Israel to the Jews; they took it by slaughtering thousands of people and destroying their cities. Obama’s preacher is still cursing our country and still has thousands jumping up and down screaming for the end of this nation. Just one thing. God was protecting the Israelites, not the USA. They, after all, are his chosen people. I don’t recall there being any word from him and none from others except from some of ours that says he is or is not going to protect us. I guess I could sit around on my duff and watch my country go down the tubes because of Obama and his tribes of crooks, and that surely is going to happen (whether you are sick of hearing it or not). Don’t forget, you said that Obama would get a second term if Cain didn’t win the GOP nomination. Well he is if we sit around waiting for God to come to our rescue.
I’m sure the Jews during WW II were sure that they would be protected. Several million later they saw that they were wrong. Sure it ended, but not because God did anything. It was because millions from other nations died and killed off enough Germans to stop them. I’m sure that the dozens of Catholic priests buggering children thought they would be forgiven or get away with it because God would come to their rescue.
I’ll put my faith in people that worry that Obama will be successful if we let him continue and we don’t do something about it before he does. And it’s up to us to stop him. So far Congress and the majority of the people in this country (legal and illegal) seem to be blindly marching down the road while Rome is burning. The Lord helps them that help themselves. And if we are victorious, we can then say it is Gods will.

However, I am forever questioning where God’s sovereign control over everything and my God-given responsibility to my own best interests overlap.
I know God is all-powerful and doesn’t need me for anything. However, he has given me certain responsibilities. If I am in need of a job, pray for hours for one every day, but don’t bother to leave the house or pick up a phone to find a job… do you think I will get a job? Certainly, God could send somebody to my house with the absolutely perfect job… but do I not have a responsibility to pursue one in a free society?
Or if I purposefully decide to leave my house unlocked (and I know a person like this) and say if God decides to let my house get robbed or my family and I to be murdered in our sleep, that is God’s will and I am fine with it.
Or if I chain smoke cigarettes while working my asbestos removal job without wearing proper gear (because it’s too hot to wear)… but I pray every day that God will keep me from getting lung cancer… Do you think I have an reasonable expectation that God will act on my prayers. Yes, God is all powerful, but is there not some expectation that I do certain things that I am free to do or not do? Does God not expect some action from me? Do I not have some responsibilities?
If people do not bother to educate themselves, spend more time as Christians gathering Superbowl party supplies than becoming involved to remove this satanically inspired man from office… can we expect God to make up for our purposeful ignorance?
We are American’s not Israelites being held as slaves of Pharaohs. The Israelites had no alternative but prayer and compliance to the Pharaohs. In America, our Declaration of Independence says:

I don’t see the people of the country rejecting God, but moreso being stupid, not listening to what he was saying, not counting his previous record(s) as an indication of what he will do and believing that whity owes a free lunch. In other words, using the gifts that God has given us to determine our future.
You are right, David. We each have a responsibility to do what we can for ourselves – and for others less fortunate. I think that God expects that of the persons that make up the body of His Church. We should speak up when we encounter injustice,try to fix the problem and do what we can to see that it coesn’t happen again. We certainly aren’t supposed to be like sheep willingly led to the slaughter. The shearer may only want our ‘wool’ today but tomorrow or the next day, he may want our lives. Blind submission to the denizens of D.C. will leave us stripped of our posessions through taxes and regulations. Our children and grandchildren will be without any hope for their future on earth.

Is it the Wrath of God or something else?
God fearing Americans these days are talking more about the possibility of the wrath of God coming as a just chastisement on our nation for turning from our Judeo-Christian values. This we should not fear. However, speaking of WRATH in conjunction with the current Washington regime, if you dare think this to be an extreme or unimaginable perception you might want to recall the announced “policy change” which the president told us would be required for him to succeed in fundamentally transforming America.
Like murderous abortion is hidden under the umbrella of “women’s health” there is an even more sinister change lurking under the umbrella of “homeland security” which is surely ready to take shape as internal turmoil like we have witnessed in Wisconsin with union thugs and across the nation in public demonstrations against immigration reform and right to work laws and most recently the “occupy” crazes. He knew, in his rush to transform us into a European styled socialistic “democracy” by systematically shredding the constitution, there would be strong resistance by those American patriots who realized what was happening.
Recall his campaign’s spoken “urgent” needs, as in must do Porkulous stimulator – Single Payer Obamacare – Bailouts, message for the need to protect us, his subjects, from harm both foreign and “domestic”. It went something like this. “We need and internal civilian security force just as well equipped and funded as our military”. You may have thought of defending against domestic terrorism maybe? Wrong. Eric Holder refuses to prosecute militant Black Panthers intimidating voters. Then Obama (sheepishly) proclaims he will stand with the storming army of labor union thugs as they demolish Madison’s capitol building. The Tea Party patriots are labeled racists radicals who must be monitored as a potentially dangerous political group by the liberal elite. The administration is quick to file suit against any state trying to enforce immigration laws or prevent taxpayer money from funding abortions. All of this openly as our own State Department headed by Hillary Clinton and by Obama’s own admission, “under the radar”, is planning through the UN to disarm the citizenship. It can not be denied we are having God, prayer, and any sign of Christianity effectively striped from public view or acclamation.
So, who do you think are the “domestic” enemies threatening the administration as the messiah’s stepped-up transformation proceeds?
Dutifully assisted by the mainstream media, the ACLU, the NLRB, and a host of liberal justices better than half of god fearing American citizens who still believe in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and American free enterprise as well as our exceptionalism as the greatest Republic ever to exist have, in the words the messiah and his reformers, been transformed into a “domestic threat” to the agenda of his regime.

I think back to when my first husband died from chemotherapy side effects – non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He struggled for one year and told me he was going to die. I wasn’t going to allow him to think that way and held onto ‘hope’ through prayer and encouraged him with prayers, music, good immune building foods….I’m certain that hope helped him live another three months. My present husband has cancer and the first Oncologist told him he had five months to live. This doctor painted a picture of doom. That was fourteen months ago and my husband is on a maintenance program which will give him perhaps another seven months of quality life. (We changed doctors and location) Our prayers and hope is that a cure will be found and he will live cancer-free to a ripe old age. So optimisim and hope are very important for a lot of situations. We will not see Obama have another four years to destroy this wonderful U.S.A.
Two things that your article brings to mind:
One, that those in authority (especially Hussein and Co.) are less concerned with eternity than with the power they currently yield, thus having no healthy fear of God and their place in eternity.
Two, that I see this great nation on the precipice of either turning back to God or being severely chastened by Him, including going into some form of Biblical captivity. And, this situation is possibly hastened by the in-your-face support of further murders in the name of a mother’s right to choose (abortion), including forcing religious institutions to comply.
Either way, I along with you am looking forward to the eternity that is promised us in God’s word. A world that will finally be rid of all evil and sin once and for all.

Having been thru the devastating loss last month of a beloved pet, I am constantly reminded of the adage ” When God closes a door, He opens a window”. This has become my theme this year as even my job positon is going thru a change, so I’m mindful to always “Keep looking up”. The blessings God showers on us even thru the tough times when we perceive Him to be silent are there-it’s just a matter of seeing past the pain to know he’s carrying us thru life’s storms when we don’t have the strength to do it ourselves.

I have had recently professing Christians tell me they don’t vote due to the evil they see. I think this is blind and stupid on their part. It is false piety. God blessed us with birth in this land once claiming to be rooted in God’s Word… we have in false tolerance allowed corruption to take hold. We ALL need to speak the truth as Mychal does and do the right thing. Even if those we don’t vote for remain in power, we are still to be watchmen on the walls shouting a warning of what we see coming.

Obama’s preacher is still cursing our country and still has thousands jumping up and down screaming for the end of this nation. Obama is still attacking our religion, still letting our borders be invaded, still protecting Black Panthers etc. etc. God’s will be done when we quit waiting for a miracle and get off our lazy butts and do something for ourselves. I do not fear my God. He is my strength and hope, but not my nanny. I lean on him only when I cannot handle whatever I cannot handle myself. He gave me self determination to use to my advantage, not to sit around waiting for him to come to my rescure. Once again, God helps those that help themselves. You’re not going to win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticklet.
Dennis, try as I might, I cannot find a whit of intelligence or logic in people that say that they don’t vote because of the evil they see. I’d say they are closer to blind than able to see any evil. I’d also guess they are part of the lazy slobs that can’t be bothered to vote because they might have to get up early and stand in line or be delayed from their first brew of the evening. They are the same type of people that will sit around doing nothing, trying to stay out of the fight and when they are being led of to whatever today’s version of the furnaces there are will be first to complain when things fall apart and cry for God to help them. The same kind of people that want safe air travel then pitch a fit because they have to take their shoes off. I have no need nor want for slugs like this. I can’t think of any reason that God would have for letting these lemmings reproduce and add genes to the collective. But they’ll always be in the background or sidelines urging the “doers” on.
