The Left is Guilty
There two things that conservatives need to learn when it comes to fighting the liberal communists who compromise the left. First, that fighting them is guerilla warfare, and secondly, that you don’t bring a spoon to a gunfight. Make it three things – mea culpas and genuflection do not work.
Rush Limbaugh may not have spoke politely about the Georgetown Fluke – but did he say anything remotely close to what the very same people now squealing like stuck pigs have said about conservatives? And before you answer that question, was what he said about her by definition untrue. If what he said wasn’t true, then an apology was in order, but if her behind is the equivalent of a FBI fingerprint repository, then by definition of same, what has Rush to apologize about?
We’ve witnessed the vulgar vitriol from Bill Maher about Sarah Palin. Have there been any outcries about his obscene diatribes from those now feigning insult by what Rush said? Were there any outcries when Liberal strategist Julianne Malveaux, the former president of Bennett College, the historically, black all-female college – when she said she wished Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife would feed him lots of butter and fatty foods, so he would have a heart attack and die? Did these same people condemn the actions of blacks throwing Oreo cookies at Michael Steele when he was running for office? When Laura Ingraham was called a slut by MSNBC’s Ed Schutlz, none other than Barbara Walters laughed it off on The View. Indeed it was a source of great amusement on her show.
WorldNetDaily reported earlier today that Christian actor Kirk Cameron, was asked on the Piers Morgan Tonight show about his views on homosexual marriage. He answered that his views were: “defined by God a long time ago…one man, one woman for life.” (Kirk Cameron on fury over gay marriage“; WND.com; 3/6/12) His calm, reasoned response immediately generated a backlash of hate-filled epithets against him. We’ve heard not a peep of insult about the insults hurled at him by Roseanne Barr, Nikki Sixx, and others.
The very thing liberals are quick to condemn, they condone as long as it is being directed at those they hate. We cannot succumb or capitulate to their attacks. Our response should be, “I said it, and I will not retract one word until you line up those who speak even worst and have them apologize.” I submit that we remind those companies who withdraw advertising, that we are consumers as well, and we reserve the right to boycott their products – which we will do if they withdraw sponsorship based on the directives of extreme leftists.
We cannot and will not win the battle by apology, because apologies are not what they want. They want us silenced, and it is safe to say, that many would like to see us in the grave. Consider the horrible attacks they’ve unleashed on Andrew Breitbart, Billy Graham, and President Reagan. Don Imus made a joke commensurate with his job as a shock jock, and was eviscerated by Al Sharpton, but we’re still waiting for Sharpton to apologize for the Tawanna Brawley lie.
We must stand our ground and fight fire with fire. I am a straight-forward, blunt-force conservative, and I remember my grandmother telling me that the way you stop a dog coming at you, was to “punch or kick it right in the nose.” Spoonfuls of apologies and genuflection won’t prevent their attacks and it doesn’t make them respect us.
We need to be as aggressive and dogmatic in our defense of freedom and truth, as they are in defense of lies and subversion. The KKK was dealt a death blow when we started suing them and seizing their property. My point being, let the left know that there is a price to be paid for their actions.
