"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

To Those Who Are Elected To Represent Us by Robert Socha

An Open Letter to our Elected Officials:

The magnitude of confusion and subterfuge in the public sphere demands this letter.

It is incumbent upon me to remind you of the order of things in these United States. The Nation itself and the States wrote Constitutions restricting the government’s power, granting it to the people. I adjure you to remember your oath, to uphold the national and state charters, and restore the people’s sovereignty. It is high time to forget public office benefits and remember the sacrifice holding such a position requires. You, the elected, are our public servants. We, the people, are the sovereign.

I believe many media outlets have been subversive in their rhetoric since before President Trump’s inauguration. The lack of propriety and the abject disrespect has been shameful these past four years. Additionally, most elected officials have cowed behind the media’s megaphone without directly appealing to the people’s sense of decency. Some members have even openly called for violence against their political opponents without any official punishment or rebuke.

I implore you to turn from the politically correct speech that masks true intentions to unvarnished truth, political capital notwithstanding. A prime example of legislatures’ cowardice toward this principle is the apathy toward demanding accuracy and accountability in counting the vote in this year’s Presidential election. There are myriad irregularities that require investigation, yet most elected officials and judiciary intentionally ignore them! The silence of many lawmakers and the complicit media openly promoting the challenger’s appearance of victory is seditious and should be dealt with accordingly.

The nine-month-long, three weeks to curb the spread, has been so terribly managed and initiated it is the catalyst for massive distrust of the government’s ability to govern effectively. Mandating masks four months into the “pandemic” has the appearance of virtue signaling without effect. The “science” changes with the political winds, although careful study will yield tremendous results. Through these terrible edicts, society’s conditioning will have disastrous lasting consequences, and it is up to you, our elected officials, to help the constituency understand the following:

First, liberty is rooted in personal responsibility and the love of country. We should celebrate our achievements and continue to advocate for forming a more perfect union.

Second, publishing trustworthy information and allowing the citizenry to make their own informed conclusions.

Third, advocating against restricting speech and reminding the people another root of liberty is the freedom of speech and the press.

Fourth, ensuring domestic tranquility is one of the government’s chief aims.

Fifth, in the face of unprecedented riotous behavior and civil unrest, establishing justice for lawbreakers and holding them accountable is essential to public trust.

Sixth, honoring the oath you swore to defend our country from enemies, foreign and domestic, is paramount to our culture’s promulgation.

Seventh, endeavoring to secure the blessings of liberty to our children and us.

Eighth, it is not the government’s responsibility to ensure there is food on their constituents’ table, nor adequate health care, nor that a vote is cast; it is the people’s responsibility to do the same. The government’s commitment is to promote (not provide) the general welfare, encouraging philanthropic efforts wherever there may be a need. The constitution’s chains limit the government’s abilities and compel adherence to reduce extraconstitutional programs and institutions.

Ninth, our Christian religious foundations are indisputable, and as Washington said, “of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”

I hope that the enduring principles enshrined in our founding documents will allow the advance of liberty to our children’s children. It requires bold statesmanship geared toward individual sovereignty and responsibility, not cradle-to-grave diplomacy. It would be a joy to hear officials remind us of the same, ushering us into another 244 years of unprecedented growth, advancement, and wealth.

As Ronald Reagan said, “freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”

We, the people you serve, are counting on you to advance our cause so future generations can look back at these unprecedented times and see the yearning for men to be free supersedes the lust for authoritarian control.
