Leftists Have Ushered In Soft Dictatorship by Robert Socha

Democracy is a degenerative form of government that descends into anarchy. “Remember Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes exhausts and murders itself. There never was a Democracy Yet, that did not commit suicide,” said John Adams.

Socialism, too, destroys everything it touches and descends into Communism and Totalitarian rule. The Bolshevik Revolution promised equality for every Russian and murdered the royal ruling class only to usher in one of the most murderous regimes to rule during the 20th century. Beginning with Lenin and through Stalin, Russia became a nightmare for the proletariat to eke out their existence under constant threat of starvation and becoming fodder for the political machine whose sole purpose was to quell dissent while portraying unity and abundance, ensuring its volatile survival. They destroyed everything beautiful, including buildings and the arts, and forbade the worship of God, replacing him with an idol.

Currently, the political activities of the Left in these United States are hellbent on curbing dissent and forcing upon an unsuspecting populace the idea to believe what they tell you even if your eyes are seeing something completely different. And if you are uncouth enough to declare the emperor’s nakedness, you shall be drawn and quartered in the public square. With great alacrity, we speed toward a rendezvous with destruction, and a demonic horde waits with bated breath and forked tongues to swoop in and fill the power void. Russians thought they were divesting themselves of a governing class whose sole aim was to keep the common man a serf when, in reality, the relaxing of serfdom in Russia paved the way for the revolution to erupt into the Romanov’s fall.

Here in these United States, popular culture frames the Founding Fathers and their creation in a negative light, thinking the utopian light (striving for something more perfect) that our country’s inception has brought into the mind of man is achievable if only we shed the shackles of the Constitution, its divested government with three separate but equal branches, and the rule of law that affords the freedom of speech, to publicly rebuke and hold our government accountable, especially at the ballot box, and the engagement of unrestricted commerce where our assets and ability to trade are protected.

Instead, the demonic Left has ushered in a soft dictatorship in which the separate but equal executive uses the separate but equal judiciary to challenge, arrest, and prosecute its political rivals. If left unchecked, “it may inflame the passions of the unthinking, and may confirm the prejudices of the misthinking” (Federalist 41) into subjugating their political opponents at any cost, violently if necessary. If left unchecked, the ability to overcome the devastation coming through economic turmoil and, quite possibly, military action will lead to the destruction of our beloved land and her magnificent flag; long may she wave “o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

We who want to reverse the tide and see these United States rise to the potential of the “more perfect union” our Founders envisioned must continue to stand for Truth and beauty. We must not be afraid to declare adamantly what our eyes see in the flesh—male and female, for example. We must oppose terrible draconian measures meant to punish the middle class by making life miserably unaffordable, including anything labeled green energy, carbon neutral, or Caelifera. We must defend the Gospel and the Kingdom of Heaven with ardent zeal, declaring His Kingdom come and His will be done on Earth, just as it is in heaven.

I am well aware that the enemy of our souls is prowling like a lion, seeking whom he may devour, and his time is near for the abomination of desolation, that terrible episode forecast in Revelation ushering in the Tribulation. At the same time, I continue to fight for the relentless pursuit of Truth and beauty, rejoicing in its challenge and working to keep the celestial fire to know Him and the power of His resurrection burning in my soul.
