‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Let’s See How They Spin Beatings In Cincinnati

By now most have heard about the spectacle that took place in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 26, 2025.  The lines are drawn, and the sides have been selected.  On the one side are the savages responsible for the horrific violence; and on the other side are the inept so-called leaders, who with great skill and imagination blame everything but their own failed policies for the societal breakdown.  The combined media outlets, i.e., television, radio, and print are withholding blame until they can find a way to make the savagery of that night the result of racist behavior by the man and woman who are blessed to be alive, considering the beatings they endured.

It would be easy to blame the attackers and their violent shambolic behavior, but they are the low hanging fruit in the ongoing episodic saga of uncontrolled violence.

An August 4, 2025, letter to the editor posted in Cincinnati Enquirer read: It’s sad how Cincinnati’s leaders − the mayor, police chief, and City Council − want to blame everyone else except themselves and their failed policies. Most people I know feel the same and believe that nothing in the long run will change until these folks are replaced with real leadership. There are pockets all over Downtown and the surrounding area that you would not visit at night. Whether you want to hear it or not, kids are roaming the streets at night, and it is not a safe place to be unless you are with large crowds.

Mack Mariani writing for the July 30, 2025, Cincinnati Enquirer wrote: According to Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge, a lot of people are to blame for the violent assaults that took place at Fourth and Elm streets on July 25. … Downtown bars are responsible for overserving customers. Bystanders are at fault because only one person called 911. And social media is to blame for distorting the incident and failing to provide the full context of what happened.

Nicholas McEntyre, reported the most heinous part of the horror that took place the night in question: An Ohio city council member disturbingly claimed that the victims of the Cincinnati downtown brawl were asking to be assaulted during the ruthless mob attack. … “They asked for that beat-down,” Cincinnati Councilwoman Victoria Parks replied to video of the July 27 brawl on Facebook.

Police Chief Teresa Theetge may look like she is right out of central casting for the decorative role she is playing, but there is no acting on the part of Victoria Parks, the so-called councilwoman.  The vicious animosity she spewed fully represents her unbridled hatred.  And therein is the rub, as the saying goes.

Parks is the personification of hatred of people who do not look and think like her.  She is the Jezebel type that George Soros money and pre-D.O.G.E. money from NGOs used to elect the Letitia James, Jasmine Crockett, types to public office.  She is not in office to improve the community, she is in office to advance division and discord.  She is in office to advance a political plurality of her kind.

The only racial provocation that led to the beating, the man and the woman suffered that night, was fueled by raw antipathy on the part of the attackers.  Theirs was the hellish thirst for savagery.

The rabid neo-Leninists such as Parks are committed to seeing America reduced to a dystopian state where people are controlled by government.  They are willing to use any means available and/or necessary to inflame hostility for the purpose of inciting violence and division.

George Floyd was a lifelong criminal and drug addict, but he was also a useful tool.  The people parading in the streets behind his coffin didn’t care about him.  His death was a fundraising event and a path to election victories.

Ignorance, antipathy, and an unfathomable desire to be victims have destroyed the “character” of those motivated by hatred based on the myth of skin color. I reference “character” because to secretly hold the depth of ill will those like Parks harbor toward the people who were savagely beaten, is a reflection of moral opprobrium that places hatred on a plane equal to a self-defined religiosity.
