Ignore Left-Wing Media Fearmongering
This is going to offend people, but it needs to be repeated again: I’m beyond disgusted with so many in America whining and boo-hooing at the least hint of inconvenience or hardship. I’m tired of a media that centuries ago traded its purpose for existence to become a clamoring cacophony of lies and distortion.
What has happened to the spine of America? America used to be a country of rugged individualists who saw the future as a blank slate, waiting for visionaries and dreamers to create it. Now, at the least hint of inconvenience people panic and whine.
I remember when the men of America worked hard and asked for nothing, but an opportunity, a job, a home of their own and if they were so inclined the tools and resources needed to create a better tomorrow. I remember when a fag was the name for a cigarette. I learned from reading English Literature in grade school that faggot was the term for a bundle of sticks. Never did I in my wildest imagination think said words would reference half-clothed men with breast implants suffering from mental illness trying to force the public into agreeing that men are women. I certainly never though those suffering from such mental illness dressed in military uniform pretending to be a health director, playing as a woman what is supposed to be an all women’s sports league. Of course, I never really expected to see that which was originally called a “bundle of sticks,” become the first crayon color occupier of the Oval Office. Obama a.k.a., the magic Negro responsible for sanctioning the abuse of prepubescent grade school children in public schools.
Everything today is upside down. Right is wrong, wrong is right; sin and debauchery are celebrated while truth and righteousness are condemned. Everything the media puts forth is driven by either fear or lies. Disagree if you like, but that will only serve to further prove my point.
At present a perfect example of fear driven reporting, distortion, misinformation and outright lies is the around the clock blathering about the price of gas, which is the point I want to address.
Gas prices have gone up! So freaking what! It happens. But, with President Trump in office, there is isn’t a single fiber or cell in my body that believes this is anything other than a temporary increase. It will come back down lower than it was when President Trump took the initiative to eliminate Iran’s ability to fund the most evil terrorist groups in the world, and their ability to create nuclear holocaust in the United States, Europe and/or the Middle East.
I remember in 1968 when high test, i.e., premium gas went from $.25 a gallon to $.30 a gallon. Keep in mind, in my home town it was a time that the majority of the people were earning $4,000-$8,600 annually with the average family size approximately six people (2 parents/4 children). Yet, people supported the family (often on one paycheck), took vacations, owned their own homes and purchased new vehicles. And, we did all of that and more without the media, politicians, and agitators inculcating people with a steady diet of immiseration based upon being told they were poor. The world didn’t end.
I remember the odd-even system utilized to determine what days we could purchase gas during the politically induced fuel crisis in 1973. I had an odd number license plate, which meant I could only buy gas on odd number days. At the time I had a Mopar muscle car that was beefed up to go faster. I was getting less than 10 miles per gallon running Super Premium gas priced at $.66 gallon. My fellow motor-head friends endured likewise. But, we survived just fine.
Should we forget Obama’s planned manipulation of gas prices in an attempt to have $8 per gallon gas prices for regular gas. As I wrote in my syndicated missive at the time titled, Frau Wasserman Schultz and Dems Own Economy, June 16, 2011:
Frau Wasserman Shultz, DNC head, said: “We own the economy, we own the recovery.” I’m pleased to hear her say that, because for once she opened her mouth and the truth came out. Obama and the democrats do own it. Since Obama and dems began crowing about the “summer of recovery” 1.9 million jobs have been lost, gas prices increased over 100%, we’ve had 28 straight months of unemployment above 8% (in fact there are those who are telling us the true unemployment numbers are north of 18%) – indeed as has been said, the only thing going down under this Obama/Democrat recovery is the value of our homes. Over 6 million foreclosures in the last year alone, 7.4 million people unemployed, nearly 5 people competing for every 1 job opening, and weekly unemployment claims over 400K a month for the past year – heck yeah, dems do own the economy and Obama’s printing more money and chanting “raise taxes” is about as much of a recovery plan as Obama and Frau Wasserman Shultz, blaming Bush for the crisis today.
Gas prices for regular unleaded in California are well above $5.00 per gallon in California at this very moment. My wife and I have two automobiles and we run premium unleaded in both of them.
I confess, I’m not enamored with paying more to fill the tank. But, I do not hear the media and feckless liars sitting in Congress complaining about the price of a quart of oil. I paid $6.95 for a quart of oil. That’s a massive difference from 1969 when we paid 45 cents a quart for the best quality oil and less than $2.00 per quart for premium oil in the early/mid 1970s.
It’s time for the media on both sides of the aisle to stop fanning the flames of fear. Prices are going to come back down lower than they were since President Trump returned to office.
The media should be talking about the great job President Trump is doing despite the liberal Marxist judges, Democrats, Karl Rove, Obama, Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, John Thune, et al doing everything in their power to undermine his efforts.
