You Can’t Condemn Clancy and Reward Planned Parenthood

What Lindsay Clancy did is beyond heinous and evil.  I personally believe there’s nothing redeemable per her actions having some safe haven with an association claiming the healthcare system failed her.  That said, I’d be remiss if I didn’t explain more thoroughly, as promised in my September 6, 2026, Sunday Thought For The Day.

I believe Clancy knew exactly what she was doing.  Her reasons for committing the crimes maybe open to debate, but that in no way marginalizes what she did.  And, this is where, as the saying goes, we get a look at sausage being made.

Many in America have selective opinions regarding crime, punishment, and our system of jurisprudence.  Some people condemn what Clancy did, but find no fault with killing your child by abortion even up to and including weeks after the child is born.  But, I digress.

What America has been subjected to is the vivid reality of our system of jurisprudence.  We have had a front row seat to what sets us apart from the rest of the world, even if only in theory: We have a right to trial by a jury of our peers, we have a right to an attorney, and most importantly we are innocent until proven guilty; which as one of the finest criminal attorneys I’ve known told me over lunch some years ago; they, i.e., the attorney decides whether or not a person is guilty.  In other words under our system, when the judge asks how the defendant pleads, if the defense attorney says not guilty that person is considered innocent even if a room full of people saw the defendant commit the crime.  To which I add, it is then up to prosecutors to prove guilt.

For victims and/or those seeking personal benefit by exploiting the system this can be a burdensome construct.  But, it protects us from heretical legal systems such those under Islam where a person can be found guilty and punished, even put to death on just the word of one disreputable person and maybe a mockery of a trial.  The person is guilty until they prove otherwise, which is all but impossible.

Like it or not Clancy’s lawyer has but one job, and that is in this case: use every tool available to keep his client off death row and have her found innocent if at all possible.  This almost certainly means that in the course of the trial, people are going to be offended on some level.

One thing is for certain, if you or I ever find ourselves in a legal proceeding be it criminal or civil, it is a guarantee that we want a lawyer who is going to use every available tool to have the outcome in our favor.  This is the good thing about our system of law.  It also means that sometimes the guilty are going to beat the system and sometimes the innocent are going to be found guilty.  This is the weakness and strength of our system: sometimes it fails.

Our system is not by any stretch of the imagination perfect.  In fact I would argue in many ways our jury and trial system is flawed if not outright broken.  But, that doesn’t give us license to change it every time the outcome of a trial is not liked.

Remember in the Old Testament Book of 1 Samuel chapters 8 through 10, the people of Israel demanded a king to judge them “like all of the other nations.”  That rejection of God’s reign over them has led to the legal system we have today.

We have unscrupulous, dishonest, men and women on courts making the most crucial of decisions for our lives.  It was such a court that found the nebulous penumbras of emanations, which as incredulous as it was legalized the systematic extermination, i.e., the murder of children.

This brings me to the question that demands an answer: If Lindsay Clancy is guilty of the murder of her children, and I believe she is unequivocally: then how is a woman who pays a stranger to murder her child up to and including the moment of the child’s birth applauded?  How is Clancy guilty of murdering her three children when in 2022, California was promoting a bill that would allow mothers to have their children murdered up to 7 days after birth?

Obama was the most pro-abortion representative ever.  He promoted the murder of babies that lived through late-term abortions.  He invoked God’s name and called for God’s blessings upon Planned Parenthood because as he put it: Planned Parenthood was doing God’s work.  He intoned that God was on the side of Planned Parenthood.

My point is: America cannot follow after corrupt courts and jurists who reject the very God our system of justice and government is founded upon.  America cannot reward child killers like Planned Parenthood et al and call those like child killer Lindsay Clancy a fiend and a horrible person.  The pink tee-shirted lunatic liberal women cheering for her notwithstanding.

It is unconscionable to allow baby killing mills like Planned Parenthood to earn billions of dollars annually by slaughtering children and complain that criminal attorneys and prosecutors are carrying out the purposes for which they were created.
