Another 'View' Of Obama's Hypocrisy

I, of all people, shouldn’t be surprised by anything Obama does, but watching clips of his latest performance on The View television show was a painful reminder of why he is the very personification of Erebus. We know he is dishonest, and, while acknowledging that all politicians are inherently dishonest on some level, he lowers that bar to nearly even with the floor.

His comments that JP Morgan losing $2 billion proves the need for more regulations, are a disgrace. He is the politician who famously said, “markets will go up and down.” The causal pretense of supreme erudition pursuant to a semblance of knowledge and desire for financial accountability was an appalling act. It was appalling second only to the coven gathered on the couch surrounding him.

As financial analyst and investor Charles Paine pointed out, JP Morgan lost $2 billion of their own money, which in factuality was approximately two-percent of their money. The operative words are “that it was their money.” It didn’t belong to the taxpayers. With that said, when did a private investment company, losing money on a legal and legitimate business venture, become the business of the government, much less that of Obama?

I have a few things that are Obama’s business that would be good for him to address. I want him to address why his wife was not prosecuted, or, at the very least, why she wasn’t investigated for falsely identifying her daughters as senior aids on her African trip. I may be incorrect, but I thought it was against the law to knowingly falsify information on government documents, not to mention when the information is for traveling abroad.

I want to know why he sees the need for more banking regulations because JP Morgan lost money on a legitimate business venture that was between them and their investors–yet he views himself as above such accountability. He has squandered perhaps as much as $10 billion of our hard-earned tax dollars on Solyndra and 11 other green energy companies. The money JP Morgan lost was a gamble pursuant to what they do. They are in business to take informed risks that, if successful, will make their stockholders money. Obama was not elected to pass around our money to those he determines to be worthy. That, in and of itself, is illegal. Government is constitutionally forbidden from favoring one sector and/or one business over another; it must treat all equally. Yet not only does Obama do it, but he doubles down on it. How about we demand investigations into that practice?

I say we should demand investigation into the billions of our tax dollars that Obama has handed out to failed energy companies and to unions. We should demand to know if any of those tax dollars found their way back into his campaign coffers.

I say we need an investigation in how much of our money the arrogant racialist he is married to spends on herself and her lavish vacations. We are aware that she spends $15,000 a day for the same makeup person Oprah uses, and that she spent $50,000 in one afternoon at a shop that is advertised as the most exclusive exotic lingerie shop in the world. Let’s call for congressional hearings into whether it was her money or the taxpayers‘ money. Let’s call for full investigations into whether or not she has reimbursed the American taxpayers for tens of millions she has spent on her lavish vacations, travel, and personal interests.

Obama and Congress are quick to condemn the legitimate business dealings of private industry, so why wasn’t Charles Rangel indicted for knowingly committing tax violations? Why isn’t Nancy Pelosi investigated to see if she has reimbursed the taxpayers for commandeering Air Force aircraft for personal use by her, her family, and friends? Oh, did I leave out that each trip included the best wines, liquors, and food?

Corruption in Obama’s administration is rife; it is on a level that at least parallels the most corrupt in history, and yet it continues without investigation. Obama, himself, has defied the courts who instructed him to allow the resumption of drilling in the Gulf.

Why not investigate what he is hiding that would be damaging to the point that he would have to step down and face the worst humiliation of any president? Admittedly, I am presuming that to be the case, but what other reasons could there be for his spending millions to keep his background concealed? Why would he try to buy his pastor’s silence? With the collective resolve to uncover the truth about his birth certificate, his draft card, and his social security card–shouldn’t Congress be calling for full investigations into these things? As a matter of fact, why aren’t they?

Shouldn’t Obama have demanded Eric Holder appoint a special investigator to look into the voter–intimidation charges in Philadelphia, PA? Why hasn’t Obama demanded Holder fully comply with the Congressional Committees pursuant to Fast and Furious, and to do it with all possible haste? Where is his moral outrage over the murder of Border Security Officer Brian Terry, who died because of the actions of those in his administration? Where is his moral outrage over the hundreds and possibly thousands of Mexicans who died because of Fast and Furious?

There are a lot of things that Obama should be calling for regulatory review and thorough investigations into: starting with his own office, including the role of Valerie Jarrett in former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich’s illegal machinations.

And hypocrisies of hypocrisies, former chairman of MF Global, Jon Corzine, admitted that $1.2 billion of customers’ money was mysteriously missing which led to MF Global filing for bankruptcy: the eighth-largest bankruptcy in U.S. history. And yet Corzine continues as one of Obama’s most prolific campaign bundlers, simply saying he “does not know where the money is.”

But Obama sat on the set of the television show The View and spun lies knowing that the media would not hold him accountable, and that many people would just accept his lies. I always thought we were smarter than that. If investigations and sanctions are necessary into JP Morgan, then they must be demanded for his administration. JP Morgan lost its own money; Obama is purposely losing ours. And losing it at an unsustainable rate. JP Morgan had the approval of its shareholders; Obama doesn’t have the approval of we the taxpayers to look down on us and do with our money as he pleases.
