Based On The Color Of Obama’s Skin

Race-mongers and those who use color of skin as a cudgel to silence any and all criticism of Obama should be forced to answer the following questions.

Was Hitler bad because he was German or because he was an Erebusic evil consumed by hatred? Was Ted Bundy bad because he was white or because he kidnapped, raped, engaged in necrophilia, and confessed to murdering at least 30 women? Is Fidel Castro bad because he is Cuban or because he is a vicious dictator who installed a failed political system and has murdered and imprisoned his people at the same time he was taking their property by constraint? Was Saddam Hussein bad because he was an Iraqi or because he imprisoned, tortured, and murdered his own people? Are child molesting Catholic priests bad because they are Catholics or because they are priests who used their positions molest children?

I know that race-mongers, liberals, and those who wield color of skin as a weapon are as loath to permit facts to stand in the way of their fallacious arguments as they are to give straight answers. But apart from sidestepping the obvious answer to the questions proffered above the answer in each instance is no.

[adsanity id=9462 align=alignright /]People (specifically black people) should stop, take a deep breath, and use their heads for something else other than a repository for duplicitous ignorance. Which brings me to my point. Obama deserves not just our criticism but our wrath, and it is a specious argument to suggest it is because of his color. He deserves it because his agenda for America, while obviously pleasing to himself and his minions, has driven us further into debt, undermined American exceptionalism, increased the level of immiseration, helped remove long-standing allies from power, and destabilized the Middle East.

If Carter’s betrayal of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, who was the Shah of Iran, gave immediate rise to the Ayatollah Khomeini and worldwide terrorism, what will result from Obama’s meddling?

Obama has made a mess in the Middle East that will threaten America for decades to come. His castigating President Bush for leading us into war in Iraq was the rule when Bush was in office, and, years after assuming office, Obama is still blaming President Bush.

But President Bush didn’t depose our allies. And for those who argue there were no weapons of mass destruction it is important to note that every member country of the coalition that joined America in attacking Iraq had information which led them to conclude that Iraq had WMDs. The House of Representatives voted 296-133 to grant Bush authority to attack. Eighty-one of those yes votes were cast by Democrats which outnumbered Democrats voting against the resolution by a better than 2-to-1 margin.

In the Senate, the vote to extend authority to President Bush to declare war was 77-23 with over 50 percent of Senate Democrats voting yes at a time Democrats were the majority in the he Senate.

As a Senator, Obama savaged President Bush as not having a plan and for mishandling the Iraq war, how are we now to view Obama’s handling (read interference) in the Middle East? Based on the color of his skin do we ignore the problems and rise of the hard-line terrorists Muslim Brotherhood? Based on the color of his skin do we ignore the precarious position has placed Israel in by deposing Egyptian President Hosni Mubbarak who was also friend to the United States?

Based on the color of his skin are we to ignore that he attacked Libya and helped overthrow their leader Muammar Gaddafi without Congressional authority? Based on the color of his skin do we overlook that Gaddafi could be controlled and in recent years, while not our best friend, was certainly not our sworn enemy? Based on the color of Obama’s skin do we ignore the fact that his administration played a major role by backing the release of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi the terrorist responsible for the bomb that destroyed Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland? Despite the fact that Obama feigned concern over Megrahi’s release. Based on the color of Obama’s skin I guess we should overlook that Obama’s backdoor maneuvering resulted in Megrahi being released from prison to live in Libya?

Perhaps based on the color of his skin we should overlook the fact that during his campaign for the White House in 2008 Obama preached at every stop that President Bush’s handling of the Iraq war was not a sound strategy to keep America safe?

Or based on the color of his skin are we to believe that Obama telling the hard-line Muslims terrorists when he planned to attack and what he would and would not attack is key to keeping America safe? And that is if, and only if, Obama can convince us that the Syria he has been working to destabilize is a direct threat to We the People.

I have Syrian friends living here and living in Syria who are Muslims. They have personally told me what Obama’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood and his meddling is doing to Syria. But then, based on the color of Obama’s skin I guess we should ignore Muslim friends’ firsthand knowledge and accounts, as well.
