Donald Trump Has My Vote For These Reasons and More by Robert Socha
Today, the death total in the United States of America for 2020 is 82.5% of the annual total (1). The worldwide death total is identical and being day 303 of 366, the percentage of 2020 that has passed is 82.8%!
Yet the global response to the coronavirus outbreak, known as Covid-19, is unprecedented in its scope and application. The measures used to control the general population are shocking in their severity. And the people have meekly continued to submit to this draconianism.
According to an FDA report (2) released on July 13, 2020, the CDC reported having “no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV are currently available…” Does that mean the CDC did not have a good sample of the virus five months into a “pandemic”?
Fear has whipped us into a global frenzy, and there appears to be no end in sight. This week Spain and Italy have implemented more stringent lockdown measures. Australia has indicated that masks will be mandatory into the new year. Broadway is closed until May of 2021. California has imposed ridiculous rules for Thanksgiving Day celebrations, and the Democratic nominee for President has posited a nation-wide mask mandate should he be elected on Tuesday. To what end?
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love,” 1 John 4:8 ESV.
On the other hand, President Donald Trump has continually provided a positive outlook toward overcoming this version of the coronavirus. He has repeatedly emphasized our ability to defeat this together and adamantly opposed lockdown measures that severely hinder the average American’s ability to produce.
It is one thing to impose stay-home-stay-safe orders when you have ample resources from with to draw. It is quite another to submit to those orders when your monthly budget depends on the number of hours you work in a day.
For the following reasons (not all-inclusive), I am adamantly endorsing the reelection of Donald Trump.
His commitments: teaching what is historically good and true without ignoring the challenges we have had to overcome, the enormous contributions the United States of America has provided mankind, returning to the foundations of American government endeavoring for justice for all, including the unborn, reducing federal policy and exposing the corruption in the highest offices in the land convince me he is still the right man to hold the Presidency.
His declarations: “America will never be a socialist nation;” “education is the civil-rights issue of our time;” “my job is not to represent the world, my job is to represent the United States of America;” “My administration is advancing religious liberty, opportunity for women…combatting human trafficking, and protecting unborn children;” “that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag;” “Our country was founded on prayer, our communities are sustained by prayer, and our nation will be renewed by hard work, a lot of intelligence, and prayer.”
I see two roads diverging in our country. One, befit by honor, longs to inspire our great nation to live up to her full potential, with liberty and justice for all. The other seeks to destroy our time-honored institutions and control our lives from the cradle to the grave. The choice for me is clear, for a people yearning to be free, for the wherewithal of the western world to lead mankind into continued liberty and prosperity, there is only one possible selection at the ballot box, and that is to reelect 45.
God bless the United States of America.
