‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Refuge From The Insanity by Robert Socha

The installed leader of the once-free world is deemed mentally unfit to stand trial for his alleged crimes, yet still commands the nuclear codes while Western media pretends the mental acuity of the man is not a concern. A Department of Justice hellbent on silencing opposition runs amuck and mocks lady justice sitting on Capitol Hill. The longstanding President of Russia’s chess game has called a check on the West, and the posturing on both sides threatens conflagration.

Inflation’s financial pressure and the highest interest rates in a generation wreak havoc on income and spending, spiraling public and private debt to catastrophic proportions. The price of oil inches ever higher while Western elites embrace the fallacy of carbon neutrality, forcing unmeetable standards on farmers and industries, crippling economies, and demanding public acquiescence to their idiocy.

Political infighting is tearing local and state politics asunder, threatening the fabric of a two-party system. Questionable election integrity elicits concern for the legitimacy of this year’s upcoming results in November or whenever the counting is complete.

The continued psy-op threatening additional worldwide pandemics, from temperatures to diseases, pummels our minds and emotions daily. Higher education, if you can call it that, continues to stifle dissent from her communistic leanings, teaching that speech not fitting within predefined borders is harmful and should be silenced if it offends unless the offense aims at Christlike affirmations. And when sensible people confront delusions and try to glean the truth, vulgarity and violence portends.

Unmitigated immigration invites our enemies to swell within our borders, creating a time-bomb set to explode into riotous behavior aimed at silencing the native son and daughter and compelling submission. The streets of our great cities swell with a discontented rabble that creates havoc and unrest and drives out businesses, destroying societal peace and stability. Fentanyl is flooding our streets and killing a generation while elected officials, who should know better, do nothing to mitigate the crisis.

The Middle East has exploded with the invasion of Israel, hostages, and Islamic states threatening worldwide communication and trade.

Sexual perversion permeates society from the mentally handicapped cult of transgenderism to homosexuality’s hedonism and the world’s insatiable lust for sex.

The Church stands idly by preaching without repentance and wondering where the Power has gone.

It all can be overwhelming, trying to keep up with and make sense of everything. Run to the Table (Psalm 23:5) and remember that Jesus invited us to come to him and find rest for our soul (Matthew 11:28-30). This running is an active engagement, not some superficial balderdash, and it offers peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) if we accept it from the Master’s hand. And when that day comes, we can withstand all the nonsensical illustrations above (Ephesians 6:16) and confidently trust in the Lord with all of our heart, lean not on our own understanding, acknowledge Him (Proverbs 3:5), and boldly go forth with Hope (Hebrews 6:19).
