She’s Not A Press Secretary; She’s A Disaster by Robert Socha
The abominable White House press secretary, whose only qualification for the position is her melanin content, sexual proclivities, and immigration status, has, once again, embarrassed the office and should resign immediately. She is one of the first and most notable DEI hires of the current usurped administration that should have forced her resignation or simply replaced her after the first stammering soliloquy on November 4, 2021. Unfortunately, we the people have entered the third year of subjection to her inept defense of administrative policy.
She hit the ground running in her opening statements by demonizing guns, suggesting helping Ukraine (in 2021), tackling inflation, climate change, and affordable housing. She stuttered and hesitated as her oratorical barrage continued unabridged. “We have a lot, we have a lot.” She continued to hammer the current administration’s spending spree through the bipartisan infrastructure law that she declared will fight climate change through environmental justice and lower costs for working families, especially attacking affordable housing by providing public funds for rental and down payment assistance.
This salvo has not aged well, but I digress.
The DEI diva pushed the Left’s divisiveness by suggesting, “hate must not have a safe harbor” and “domestic terrorism must not repeat hatred and extremism ideologies.”
These open-ended attacks on political rivals continue at light speed and have expanded their Stalinesque raids. Political opposition is fair game in these trying times.
How are we still so easily manipulated by allowing pedantic, flowery language to tickle our fancy and hypnotize us into blind obedience?
Jean-Pierre touted her black, gay, immigrant woman status and dared to say in the following sentence, “It’s not about me.” She boldly declared the administration’s commitment to truth, honesty, and transparency, stating, “We might not see eye to eye, and that is okay.”
Fast forward to Tuesday, February 6, 2024, briefing Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy questions Joe Biden’s mental health, and she responds, “I’m not going to go down that rabbit hole,” immediately moving on to another reporter. She hits all the main talking points again, from Ukraine and Israel, with vocal support of Gaza and a two-state solution, to border issues and national security while incessantly accusing House Republicans of doing nothing to address the severe problems, including immigration, and suggesting they are playing political games by baselessly attacking the administration, immediately demanding they get to work and do what it takes for the American people. I have an unwavering belief that until the Republicans fall in line with Democratic policy, they will never be acceptable opposition. When has this installed administration ever done something for the American People and not their own political ends?
I write today to confront the narcissistic pandering and say get prepared and face the hard questions with the truth; not that anything said from the Press Secretary’s podium is trustworthy. I am fully aware that the following statement is an impossibility with our current political climate, but I request: Honor your opening statement that declared the willingness to allow for uncomfortable disagreements and truthfully answer complex questions without pussyfooting around the issues.
