Targeting Children by Robert Socha
Popular culture is targeting our children like never before. Unfortunately, most of us simply throw our hands in the air and say, “what, if anything, can I do?” But the actions of companies like Balenciaga and a couple of years ago Netflix producing ads and movies exploiting the sexualization of children is a bold attempt to normalize criminal behavior. And the so-called doctors who advocate for double mastectomies and castration of minors because they are confused about their identity should be relieved of their ability to practice medicine. I don’t understand the level of depravity that chooses to exploit children vehemently. We must be bold in our opposition to this evil.
“Boys are boys from the beginning, girls are girls right from the start,” taught Mr. Rogers. The Psalmist Solomon wrote in Psalm 127, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” If our children are a reward, why don’t we endeavor to “Train up a child in the way he should go?” (Proverbs 22:6)
We must train our boys and girls to mature into young men and women respective of their chromosomes. Instead, society has determined a child’s fantasy of being what they are not should accommodate the delusion in contrast to helping them navigate their confusion until they pass through the troubled waters. Experimenting on our children is evil and should be vigorously opposed and outlawed. Segue: social media platforms also have a tremendous deleterious effect on our youth and should be vigorously monitored and limited in their use.
I may have heard something along these lines from Bill Mayer, but it’s worth repeating, nonetheless. You have to be 16 to drive a car. We don’t allow children younger than 16 to drive because they don’t have the maturity or mental capacity to command a vehicle properly. The voting age is 18. Presumably, children younger than 18 lack the life experience and the ability for rational thought to make wise decisions in the voting booth independently. And our laws most ardently state you must be 21 to drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes because people younger than 21 cannot exercise self-control. Yet, in a bizarre stroke of insanity, young children apparently can know they were born wrong. Instead of affirming their Natural sexuality, formed in their mother’s womb, and guiding their children to natural maturity, misguided parents and doctors go along with the delusion to the point of mutilation, an irreversible tragedy.
These delusions created by the author of confusion are a slap in the face of scripture that declares God formed and fashioned us in our mother’s womb in Psalm 139. It is a manufactured lie bent on subverting natural law and nature’s God. It is incumbent upon those of us who have the capacity for rational thought to continue opposing these irrational dictates and declaring the truth that Mr. Rogers so eloquently stated. Boys are boys, and girls are girls, and we must affirm their natural roles while protecting their innocence and virtue.
