Let Me Remind You About Obama and Guns
Obama is like a house that has had all of the windows and doors closed during the hottest month of summer, with uncleaned cat litter boxes in it. He stinks!
Consistent with that he apparently thinks people cannot read and/or that we’ve forgotten what a corrupt liar and usurper he has been – especially when it comes to insisting our Second Amendment rights to “own and bear arms” be abrogated. He is willing to exploit any tragedy to accomplish his nefarious goal of same.
But, to his misfortune many of us can read and comprehend; more importantly we know how to expose his corrupt double standards. We also know that he and politicians like him want our guns taken away, but they could care less about the criminal acts of gun violence Obama, et al sponsor and approve.
Read the following and make certain that it goes viral. Congress and Obama aided by a corrupt news media do not want you to know the following. They want you ignorant and believing their lies, as a means to sway public sentiment against guns.
The next time Obama, Congress, the media and/or their minions spout off about why we shouldn’t be allowed to own and enjoy any firearm we chose ask them: “If illegal guns are so bad, why haven’t Obama, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Janet Napolitano been arrested prosecuted for the following brazenly criminal acts?
In a July 28, 2012, Daily Rant article I wrote:
It took Obama six days to renew his calls for a ban on guns in the aftermath of the movie theater murders in Aurora, Colorado. Following is an excerpt from his comments to the National Urban League: “I, like most Americans, believe that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual the right to bear arms. I think we recognize the traditions of gun ownership that passed on from generation to generation, that hunting and shooting are part of a national heritage, but I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals; that they belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities.”
Obama is as driven to undermine our Second Amendment right to own and bear arms as Satan is to have sinners in hell. And let there be no doubt about it–that is the sensus plenior of Obama’s insidious bromide.
Saying that “hunting and shooting are part of a national heritage” he was applying a familiar hypocorism that we are all comfortable with, and then contrasting it in such a way that the unthinking will agree. That said, of course, who wouldn’t agree that AK-47’s do not belong in the hands of criminals? It’s too bad he didn’t make that clear before Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, Jaime Zapata and a couple hundred innocent Mexicans were murdered by the guns his administration was responsible for illegally selling to Mexican drug cartels.
If Obama feels so strong that guns belong in the hands of soldiers not criminals then why weren’t the thousands of assault rifles that were sold to the most violent and dangerous drug cartels in this hemisphere, sold to the Mexican military instead?
Obama is the most mendacious and pernicious, narcissistic megalomaniac ever to occupy elected office in the history of our government. He makes Hugo Chavez appear to be a sane and coherent dictator. But as is always the case Obama is hanged by the words and comments he wasn’t able to have sealed from public view. (See: A Left-Handed Way To Take Our Guns)
On October 15, 2012, the Common Sense and Wonder blog published apiece that read:
Fifty seven previously unidentified firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious were recovered in sites associated with murders, kidnappings, and at least two gruesome massacres.
Univision News obtained the list of Fast and Furious weapons and a list containing almost 60,000 recovered firearms compiled by Mexico’s Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA). A cross-reference of the serial numbers of the guns resulted in 96 full matches (several partial matches were discarded). The 96 firearms linked to Operation Fast and Furious all turned up at crime scenes in Mexico from 2009 to 2010.
In a report published on July 26, Congress mentioned there were “at least 48 recoveries involving 122 weapons [in Mexico] connected to Operation Fast and Furious.” To check whether those were the same guns pinpointed by the data cross-reference, Univision News contacted congressional investigators asking for the serial numbers of the 122 guns in Congress’ report. After an initial request by Univision News in mid-September and despite numerous phone calls and emails, there was no further response.
Univision found new evidence of weapons linked to Fast and Furious Operation used in Mexican crime scenes.
Univision News then gathered all the serial numbers available in the evidence appendixes of the major congressional investigation released by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Iowa Senator Charles Grassley last July. Another data analysis showed that five of the weapons in the list of 96 were already mentioned in the hundreds of emails and the 4473 forms that the Department of Justice had given to Congress. (The 4473 forms, also known as Firearm Transaction Records, are the documents that people who are purchasing guns from a Federal Firearm Licensee must fill.)
A search of SEDENA’s press releases, which often include the serial numbers of seized firearms, resulted in one more firearm whose serial number matched one of those already in Congress’ list.
Finally, Univision News compared the recovery dates and locations highlighted in The Department of Justice’s Operation Fast and Furious: Fueling Cartel Violence, with those found in the remaining list of 90 weapons. For the cross-reference list and Congress’ list, we divided each year’s recovered guns by state. After that, we compared the number of weapons found in each state on both lists. That is, we compared the number of guns recovered, say, in 2009 in Baja California, according to lists by Congress and by Univision News.
For instance, if Congress had identified seven Fast and Furious weapons recovered in Baja California in 2009, and our list mentioned 24, then we concluded that our list included at least 17 new weapons. In the end, the state-by-state analysis showed that 57 of the firearms in the cross-reference were not included in Congress’ report.
Univision News started looking for unreported Fast and Weapons after discovering a SEDENA document, which said that three guns from an ATF gun-tracing operation were used in the massacre in Villas de Salvarcar, Ciudad Juarez.
If there were true justice, Obama, his harridan wife, Congress and all those like them would be in prison not running around demanding the Constitutional rights of We the People be denied. Obama, Holder, and Napolitano lied. American citizens along the border aren’t safe. And together they have done everything to ensure the safety of property owners who suffer, the border towns that are overrun by illegals, and most egregiously – they are personally and singularly responsible for the deaths of Americans and 200-plus Mexicans who have been murdered by the illegal weapons they supplied to criminals.
