‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

The Lies People Willingly Believe by Robert Socha

The Biblical account of Esther’s life has a penultimate crescendo when her uncle Mordecai compels her to go before the king in Esther 4:14: “For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Just as Satan influenced Haman to plot against the Jews in Esther’s time, he has exploited countless men of power and wealth to confuse and confound our cultures by manipulating the truth with forced lies and perversion. The lies are so profound and unbelievable that they have morphed into pop culture as people’s truth and twisted the minds and emotions of weak-willed adults who would rather entertain delusion than stand for a biological fact. The adage that if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it to be true even if their eyes tell them otherwise is proven prophetic through the frequently violent response instigated by men when sane arguments attack their delusion.

Esther was providentially placed in the king’s palace to be his wife, gain an audience with him, and plead the cause of her people. We, too, are in places of influence where the same choice is before us. If we keep silent now, relief will come from another place, but we will perish. Let’s try to go before the rulers and powers and declare reason and responsibility. The possibility of deliverance presents an opportunity to refute the madness and set minds free, returning to decency and normalcy.

It is indecent for half-naked men and women to be gyrating and performing publicly in any circumstance, especially when it comes to influencing and entertaining children. Children are a heritage and a reward, and we should train them in the discipline and love of godliness and contentment. Promoting this debauched behavior is unacceptable for anyone with authority and should be continually denounced.

It is appallingly childish and indecent for Ivy League schools to allow their student body to deface property, interfere with classes, and behave barbarically with the excuse that they are simply expressing themselves. No, these administrators know better and should ensure the rule of law and order are in place at these supposed institutions of higher learning.

It is agonizingly ignorant for a beautiful natural paradise such as Iceland to create, build, and engage the world’s most immense carbon vacuum. The Icelandic government has powered up a device whose purpose is to suck in as much air as possible, filtering the carbon out of it and injecting the carbon into the ground to help keep climate change from overheating the planet. This machine is insane! These climate scientists’ worship of Gaia has culminated in the creation and implementation of a machine designed to destroy the climate they are purporting to protect, and they don’t see the destructive pattern. As I understand it, more carbon would mean more plants, more plants would mean more food and more food would be able to feed an ever-increasing human population. I vehemently denounce the models filled with incomplete data on how educated men base their impactful decisions.

Remember that this precipitous slide toward climactic armageddon is not merely propagated by flesh and blood but by principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and we can overcome it through the word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11).

I close with an admonition to not only pray and speak to God but also listen to Him through the reading of His Word. It is living and active, helping us navigate this desolate time by providing an opportunity to listen, believe, and obey. “We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.” 2 Corinthians 10:4. For we have been born for such a time as this.
